Apparently nobody knows wtf they are doing anymore. Just wanted darkish brown depth added to my mousy hair and highlights to brighten up the depth for a sunkissed look. Same way I've always gotten my hair colored in the past but apparently, "stylists" are no longer trained to listen to the client (who is FAR more familiar with their own hair and what it can and cannot take) than the know it all ego maniac. I left that salon yesterday with MORTICIA ADAMS BLACK WITH BLUE TINGED ENDS and no visible highlights!! Told the idiot to do fine weave so she did MICRO WEAVE so fine it looks like GRAY HAIRS under the light and can't see it at all in the dark. This gal is either stupid or covertly malicious. My hair looks like I went to Walmart and bought a frkn black box dye and did it myself but left some choice gray hairs showing! It looked way better before this person touched it. Looks like a raven exploded on my head. No dimension and far too dark for my skin tone (which apparently these "artists" are not trained to care about their clients or even consider this aspect). Too afraid to let her try and "fix it" if she is this dense and unable to follow basic instructions,(YET ARROGANT and needs a new chair that doesn't cause NECK PAIN in her clients by forcing them to crane their head back in a painful position so she can ruin their hair). It seems almost ALL the younger "hair styists" in Florence AL seem to be full of ego and empty of actual empathy, listening skills and humility in the past 10 years. All they care about is the almighty $$$$ and they charge way too much for mediocre (at best) service. I've searched for a person who will do what I (THE PAYING CLIENT) asks and they all pretty much do what the EFF they feel like doing to me. Last girl (Parlor 217) did the exact opposite and had me all bleached out with dark roots like Blondie. I basically paid nearly $200 for this idiot to mess up my hair . And she didn't bother to tell me they didn't take checks after I drove from TN. What a crock. I will never set foot in that "salon" again. Enter at your own risk because YOU may be their next chosen SCAPEGOAT while you sit their for hours having your hair ruined while others WALK IN AND OUT during that same time period getting exactly what they wanted. The lady beside me got hers done almost identical to what I wanted but evidently "Mandy" cannot follow basic instructions or interpret a PICTURE that shows 2 colors on easy to style straight hair. Absolutely pathetic. Where are all the good beauticians these days that LISTEN TO THEIR CLIENTS??? I can do a better job myself than these narcissistic A holes. Apparently mediocre is all I'm gonna get anyway (if I'm LUCKY). We need to start suing these people. You pay a plumber for a service you get the service you EXPECTED AND PAID FOR.

Definitely will be going back in 6 weeks. Was the best experience I have had with a beauty shop since I moved to Alabama.
