My hair is lifting up so bad. @thesalonjmoirai @salonjmoirai I went to the hair salon yesterday and I thought I was satisfied with my hair but I'm not I'm very angry and upset in a bit hurt this hairstylist is very unprofessional and disrespectful ... The owner of the shop was doing my finger waves and she just kept on bringing me down telling me that my Relax it was a fresh I literally just got a relaxer almost 2 weeks ago I know how my hair pattering is and I know that I didn't need a relaxer she kept on saying that my roots with puffy when it wasn't. she decided to use foaming style mousse, Spray got to be glue gel spray and Gel.. Which I only use Gel or wants to come to finger Waves... She never asked me did you want a different hairstyle or recommend a different hairstyle...She had ear phones in her ear and I didn't know who she was talking too.. she was saying that she couldn't do it because my hair was long... it not long i have a bit of a length front of my hair. everything else is short if you couldn't do them then you should've just not do my hair at all.. she did the finger Waves And once she got done they looked OK and I was fine with me but until I got home my hair start itching for no apparent reason any time now to go to the hair salon my hair never itch so I say her email out Saying that I wasn't satisfied with my hair not only that I try to send her a request back to get my money back on my cash app she denied it immediately but she didn't even read the email so I decided to call her today this I called her she got smart disrespectful and tried to talk all over me and then hung up then she was telling me she couldn't do a refund I asked her why and then she was like I did the survey and I said I wasn't satisfied with the service I'm very disappointing and angry and upset... this hairstyle wasn't even Worth 50 bucks.. very unprofessional you just don't hang up on your clients.. Omg, so Jenn saved my short hair life & slayed my short hair. She took me last minute & her hospitality in her salon is nothing short of amazing! It was Friday & filled with nothing but positive empowered women projectipositive vibes. My knee is in a brace & they made sure to accommodate me without me even asking to ensure I was comfortable. I got an amazing shampoo and then I was molded to sit under the dryer; now usually I dread the dryer but I didn't sit under there no longer then what I needed to & to me that was the cherry on top! Then I went to the Queen herself, Jenn & she slayed this natural curly hair of mine in under 25 minutes. I mean were talking about an hour tops to get my hair washed & pressed!!! Listen when I tell you Jenn is now my new hair stylist because not only are her hands a gift but she ensures sitting in a salon to get your hair done isn't like doing a 9-5 hahah!!! The price was reasonable and my hair looks so beautiful. I received so many compliments my alter ego had to make an appearance. I love black owned hair salons who know how to get the job done in a professional, friendly & efficient manner. Thanks again Jenn! REVIEW UPDATE **** recently went back to Jenn for another hair appointment & this time wasn't too great. I got my hair done & everything looked amazing. when I came home after simply day & began to prep my hair for bed I realized it was completely stiff.( curls still there but no flow, no silky texture. It felt as if you have too much product left on your hair & get it curled so you have no shine or bounce to your hair. I was so disappointed because the next day my hair turned out like I didn't just get it done & all I did was pin curl it like the last time. I contacted Jenn informing her to see if maybe something was different this time in her process & how we could come to a resolution since I just got my hair done less than 24 hours before. To my surprise; there was a lack of customer servicing. No solution provided, she didn't try to rebuild my repore & correct the issue. She simply stated she did nothing different & maybe I needed a deep condition. But I know my hair, it's only been apart of me my whole life & that wasn't the issue.lol In my opinion she could have offered me to come back for her to redo it or show real concern as if she valued my business. I spent $150 getting my hair down twice within 6 days because she did such a fabulous job the first time I couldn't wait to go back again. My feedback to black owned businesses; I've spent my money here for a reason not only to support you but to feel empowered as well so don't dismiss me when I have an concern regarding my service received. First let me just say when you walk in Jen greets everyone which is nice . I had MiMi and she was amazing . I showed her a picture and she gave her opinion and it came out amazing! I seen every last stylist in there do someone's hair and they are all amazing. If you want healthy hair this is the place to go ! Love this salon a lot. Very clean and the staff are very friendly. The service is also pretty quick, and they have great hours and are very flexible if need be. 2nd time was definitely a charm. I'm so happy it worked out. This pace is just 2 minutes away from me and the pics on Instagram are to die for. I've been to this salon 3 times and have been satisfied with the services I received. The stylist I go to name is Tiffany Jackson and she does great work. I'm usually not to fond of people cutting my hair because many people don't know how to cut but Tiffany is on point with the shears. She gave me an awesome trim and did not hack off my hair. I have had my hair braided for 3 years. I would take my braids out wash and condition at home and head right to the braiding salon. This year, I was ready to see how long it grew and get a cut before I put my braids back in. I was referred to this salon by my coworker. I arrived after scheduling an appointment and didn't have to wait long. I got a thorough wash, deep condition, and blow dry by Renee and my trim, press and curl by Jenn. It looked great. My hair is very thick and tightly curled and they did a great job styling it.They were friendly and professional but fun plus it was on Valentine's day so I know they were tired. For all of that I paid $90. Not bad at all. I used satin curlers to keep the style. The press held up for 2 weeks which was great. The other thing I liked are the appointment reminder and confirm texts. I like when salons use technology. I am back today before I put my braids back in but will definitely come here again this year. read more
