Just got my hair colored and cut by Sadete, and I had to write a review. My natural hair color doesn't lift easily, I thought I would definitely need more than one session but she got it the color I wanted in ONE try! The color was blended in a way that you can't even see where the color starts and ends. It looked even better than the photo I showed her of what I wanted! She worked with my skin tone and natural hair color, and with that decided what would look best on me. Maria (a salon employee) was very sweet and helpful during the wash and blow out portion which helped a lot as far as timing. Sadete took my appointment last minute and fit me in to her schedule with no problem. She took her time with me- yet at the same time I was out of the salon in about 2 hours! For working on thick textured hair with previous work, a wash, cut, AND blow out, that's quick. She was entirely professional, made me feel comfortable, and we spoke so much that I didn't even feel the time pass. Thank you so much Sadete, for your beautiful work and for my new hair. Very disappointed in my first experience here. $185 later, my hair is 13 different tones of bronze, orange, yellow, gold, brown, and just burnt looking. Vanessa, who claims she has 20 yrs experience with color - apparently, does not. Even gave her a 2nd chance to fix it but no good. 3 washes later as she recommended and still, my hair is ugly. Waste of money, and I even drove out from Jersey for this waste of time. Have to spend another $200 to fix her mistake. Thanks Girls! read more

Salon is nice and very clean, the staff is friendly and absolutely amazing , the owner is so welcoming, plus I was sooooo happy with my hair result (Josephine did it). I called to make an appointment for hair and makeup and they told me they had to call me back because they had to contact the make up girl, fine. This was in a Wednesday. I called back Thursday to follow up , since they never called me back, and they said they take down my number and again call me back... I call back again Saturday still nothing. They're closed Monday and Tuesday so I call back Wednesday and again they said they take down my number. By this time I'm already aggravated since it's been a week and no courtesy call back, nothing. They tell me well how about I give you the makeup girl number and you contact her because she's really busy. So I'm doing your job now?? I called back to cancel my hair appointment and the lady who answered the phone told me "well I don't know if this is you or not it just says "girl" meanwhile, I gave my name when I made the hair appointment! This woman who answered the phone was polite, but none of the other woman there are. They're rude and unprofessional. Never coming here again! read more

It's okay. I can't recommend them. It was 83 for for few highlights on the front of my hair. Literally it too 5 mins to foil my hair. The quality of the highlights is not all even. I gave two stars bc Sadeta is pleasant but the quality of highlights and price are not good. read more

The worst experience ever! Do not go! I wanted to come back to natural color. I choose hair sample and he began to color my hair. The smell of bleach was irritating my eyes, even he told me he did not use any of it. He was always hitting my face. At the end, the result was SHOCKING: the hair color he promised me to be was TOO DARK! He promised medium blonde but it turned out to be dark brown. Moreover, it was UNEVEN!!! I have been to this salon before for the eyebrow lady, tema. She is very nice, thorough and diligent in her work. For this reason, there is always a wait for her services. This afternoon I went in and was given a ticket by the front blond woman. Since I've waited over an hour in the past, I asked her how long it would be before my number would be called. She told me to come back in 45 minutes. Being 9 months pregnant, I was happ that I could go home and grab some lunch. 45 minutes later I called the salon to see how far along they were. Someone told me that they had passed my Number but if I got there quickly there was only one person ahead of me. I got there literally 5 minutes later (which is not easy with a big belly). When I arrived the blond lady told me I would have to take a new number and wait again. I was completely shocked that they didn't honor my previous number when they were the knee who told me to return in 45 minutes. I found the behavior to be unprofessional, unapologetic and unsympathetic. I definitely was not going to waste my time sitting there when I could go into labor at any moment. All I wanted was to beautify whatever I could before my delivery. I had scheduled this day for eyebrow threading and expected it would be done (I don't know if I will get the chance again). I will probably head to the mall, which has several stands an salons that provide the same service and do not make women wait unfairly. Unfortunately this salon is close to my home and is most convenient, and though tema charges on the high side, I was willing to still go. But after the way I was treated I will never return to this salon, sorry you have lost a customer!!! read more

I'm sure these ladies are good but if you're looking to get a very short stylish young hairstyle STAY AWAY!!! My daughter has short hair that desperately needed a cut. We were told that she would get exactly what she asks for. She asked for a Fade on the back and sides and longer on top. We were very specific... explained it in great detail. What she got was a buzz cut with uneven, short chopped hair on top. I've showed photos to friends... "Omg!" "Poor kid." "It's so crooked." "I could cry for her." were just a few of the replies I got. She has prom in a few days, then graduation. I'm horrified!!! I evened up some of the really awful spots, but it's so short there's no way to really fix it except for buzzing her whole head and starting from scratch (which I won't do). I'm literally sick to my stomach thinking about it. But I have to put on a happy face and tell her it's not so bad, looks okay... because I don't want to upset her more than she already is. read more
