She had great suggestions for layering and thinning out my hair, which is thick and heavy, and was a pleasure to talk to while she worked. The salon itself was clean. Prices are very reasonable ($26 for a shampoo, cut, and blow dry). The only thing preventing a 5 star review is that the way the chairs are arranged it could be a bit difficult to maneuver for someone who is less mobile and some music might help the atmosphere a bit. But, I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area and in need of a cut.

This started out as a great hair salon for me. Ann Michaud did a nice job. Today I was 5 minutes late for an appointment she rescheduled twice, and she took another client ahead of me. I was a regularly booked client. If she didn't want to do my hair anymore then she should have been a professional. I'm very unhappy that I have been left in the lurch. She argues with her clients and makes unnecessary comments about them after they leave to the other stylists. It's terrible. And so unkind. Nikki washed and cut my (extremely long) hair, saved the length while making it healthy, and kept me smiling and chill the whole time. I had a great experience, got a wonderful haircut, and feel so much better about going back in a few months. Inarguably the best experience I've had getting a haircut in my whole life!
