Had a appointment with one of the ladies down there and when I got there I ended up with someone totally different, no problem I figured because I would assume they are a professional. When I got to the seat the guy who was doing my hair didn't even give me his name or anything so I don't even know who did my hair. I asked to trim my STRAIGHT bangs and some how ended up with the right side being significantly longer than the left side. Then when I got my hair blowdried and brushed at the end somehow my hair is still gnarled in the back when I have straight thin hair and it takes me 2 min to brush my hair everyday. Brought my son there with hopes of getting a basic haircut for his birthday (was one of his birthday wishes). Place was dead, only one lady getting her hair done and staff said they had no one who would cut kid's hair. I explained the situation and also was clear about having zero expectations and that any basic haircut would make him happy for his birthday....they said "Sorry, can't do it!" Was actually a blessing in disguise, we ended up stopping at Salon Evo. The girl was actually leaving when we arrived but stayed late just for my son. Haircut came out amazing and my son couldn't have been happier! Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with Cuts Plus. So many other options with much better customer service! 1 star is actually too high considering they wouldn't even accept our business. read more

Worst I've ever experienced at a hair salon. Made an appointment and still waited 40 minutes. She gave about 5 minutes to my cut. And was suppose to blow dry, well, she did for about a minute. Wasn't dry and wasn't cut, was trimmed about 1 inch. Wasn't anything like what I wanted. Will never go to this salon again. read more

This is where I always get my hair cut. However, today I witnessed the most unprofessional behavior. A stylist, Lori, was yelling across the room bullying her coworkers. There was no need to exhibit this behavior at any point, but especially not in front of customers. I hope that the owners will rectify this quickly!! read more

The very worst business that I have ever encountered in my 63 years. The owner is an obnoxious bully, more on the lines of a true parasite, in my opinion. My wife went today to have her hair high lightened by Lori, one of the stylists there. My wife usually only goes to this place for a wash and blow dry. My wife did not want to drive to the east side of Providence where she usually gets her hair highlighted. My wife had an agreement with Lori that (Lori) would pick up product was which Schwarzkopf which she neglected to do. Upon doing a partial highlight she never informed my wife that she neglected to pick up the product. Well the color is horrendous all my wife's blond highlights are now a red color. My wife instructed Lori to put her under the dryer to no avail. I do NOT want to consume anymore time than need be on this hideous matter. The owner DAVID called my wife and threatened her and she is 60 years of age. The final outcome beware folks this guy has ZERO respect for people. He called the police when we arrived back at his salon. Of course Lori the stylist was no where to be found. The owner stated that my wife left his facility without paying. I again will state NEVER seen such rudeness, mean spirited behavior in a business owner. He treats the ELDERLY like garbage. Mind you my wife has been going to this salon for wash and blow dry for the past 2 years and is charged 20.00 each time. My wife gives Lori a 5.00 tip. Stay aware you folks have been warned. Let me not forget that LORI said "if your not happy with your hair then do NOT pay for it. read more

Very nice haircut by stylist today. Pleasant and experienced. The issue is the problem with EMDP coming into the salon; threatening the stylists and customers. Apparently its a pattern of behavior that isn't resolved. Local law enforcement have been notified. It's a risky situation for everyone and needs to be addressed. read more

The manager of this salon named Nicole is beyond rude. Also there is a blond haired girl who works along side of Nicole who has worked for over 15 years that takes ignorance to a whole other level. Stay away, the place is old and dirty. Maybe if the girls would stop gossiping about there clients and just do there job, they would be doing something. read more

I received a fantastic haircut from Justine today. I wasn't sure how much I wanted to take off so she cut it once to see how I felt about it, then took off so more until the length was perfect. She had great suggestions for layering and thinning out my hair, which is thick and heavy, and was a pleasure to talk to while she worked. The salon itself was clean. Prices are very reasonable ($26 for a shampoo, cut, and blow dry). The only thing preventing a 5 star review is that the way the chairs are arranged it could be a bit difficult to maneuver for someone who is less mobile and some music might help the atmosphere a bit. But, I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area and in need of a cut. read more

This is my second time here. Lisa, my stylist both times!! She was awesome. I got a perm and I am very picky on cut. She nailed it. Everyone was so attentative to their clients! The salon was clean. I have been going to Nicole at Cuts Plus and when she was at another salon located locally, for as long back as I can remember. Simply put, Nicole is fabulous! She is personable, knows her stuff when it comes to color, always gives me a great cut and has done my children's hair for many years, too-and they have always been very happy with their hair, also! One year in particular comes to mind when Nicole did my daughter Lauren's hair during a particularly tough time in my daughters life, and the hair cut, or design I should say, was outstanding!!
