I recently went here on a Saturday morning to get my daughter's hair done for a quince she was going to be in. I had called during the week and made an appt for 9:30am. The morning of, I received a text at 7:30am saying they don't have a stylist at 9:30 and to come in at 10am. Okay, fine. I get there at 9:50am and the salon is closed, doors are locked and we don't see anyone inside. At 9:55 I text back the same number who text me earlier and she said she would be there in a few minutes. She shows up and starts working on my daughter's hair. I very much like to believe in "trust the process". I don't do hair and honestly I'm not very good at styles, which is exactly the reason why I wanted something special & professional for my daughter. I really feel uncomfortable being confrontational in public. It's not my style and I don't want to get into an argument. My daughter liked the front of her hair and I liked the curls at first but later realized they were terrible. The stylist told us to brush out the curls later (why should I have to style hair I'm paying u $65 to do?) and said it should be fine. When I tried to separate them later I noticed white flakes from whatever hairspray or product she put in my daughter's hair. She never clipped curls up and waited until they cooled and the back looked very messy. I said it was fine and looked nice (bc the front was okay and the curls seemed nice in the salon). I even tipped bc I always tip. I went out to the car and a few blocks away pulled over and saw how terrible the back looked. Bobby pins sticking out (literally sticking out) and her hair was super frizzy and messy looking. I'm not a stylist but my daughter had a photoshoot from a sweet 16 a few weeks ago and the hair was like night and day! We did not have time to have someone else fix this so we had to go with it for the day. A lot of people gave good reviews online in a FB group, which is why I went there but, sorry, I will not be going back and cannot recommend this place to anyone. The absolute worst experience. The first girl who did my hair was not licensed yet but I wasn't aware of that until she began cutting my hair. She charged me $50. I went back the following week because I was unhappy with some unevenness and I believed the owner when she said she was fixing it but she purposely made my haircut worse for complaining. PLEASE DON'T RISK COMING HERE. I wish I would've been patient and waited to see my regular licensed stylist who charges me $35 for a cut. read more

Got my hair done, it was quick and the receptionist was so nice and made everything easy. they are nice and make good conversation. 10/10

I thought I would give a local business a try and what a disappointment! had an appointment at 4:30 and waited for an hour without anybody acknowledging how late they were running. After an hour wait, the available stylist decided to take somebody else that had arrived after us. Will never go back, my advice to them is to learn how to run a business and improve customer service. read more

Very disappointed with my experience. I scheduled an appointment with Cindy for a haircut for my 17 y/o daughter as I was referred by my brother, just a haircut as I was told a blow dry was more a separate charge. We get there and was greeted and taken by someone else, I told her my appointment was with Cindy and she said that's ok. My daughter has curly hair and we just wanted some stye/shape and bounce, the girl could not deliver and keep trying giving several diferente excuses even tried the blow dryer with diffuser to try and add some volume at this point my daughter looks like she wanted to start crying so I jut told her to stop. I understand curly hair is hard to cut and style but my review is when I went to pay she charges me $40 and I asked re $25 price on the board, she then said that she dried it, not to mention my daughter's hair is still about 60% wet, I told her that she hadn't blowed dried it and she said that she used the blow drier. I was not going to argue with her but left really upset and feeling robbed. I will definitely not go back and or refer anyone, if this review were up to my daughter she would have given 1 star. read more

So, I went in a week before to schedule an appointment. We finally both agree on today at 5. I had mentioned I work 2 jobs and go to school so I don't have much time on my hands. Today I go in to be seen for my appointment and I'm about 5 minutes early. I ask the girl of I should wait in the car since I seem she was still with a client and had another one sitting with what look like her hair still in a towel. Two kids. Ok I get wanting to make a much money as possible, but how unprofessional is it if her to make me wait in my car over 35 minutes without saying anything to me, not even an I'm so sorry let's reschedule. After I go home, I hear absolutely nothing from her the entire night! No I'm sorry, no let's reschedule. I should've learned the first time this happened. Lesson learned. I would rather pay someone else more money, than be treated with disrespect! read more

Their prices are not the same as advertise haircuts at $50 and they do a horrible job completely butchered my hair pls pls pls do yourself a favor and do not trust them here. My layers are uneven and botchy. Worst stylist and their prices are a joke for their work, there's a lot more talented stylist in the area who charge less. I went there because my girl was booked and it was an emergency. BIG MISTAKE!!!! I needed my roots touched up and a trim. She had to do my roots twice because the first time didn't take. The haircut which was just a trim was terrible!!! My sides are uneven, layers weren't blended, and a big hole cut into my right side. The place was very dirty as well. The lady that did my hair was even one of the owners!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!! read more

WOW! This place is truly amazing. It is operated by extremely personable, kind, and easy to talk to hairstylists. It is locally owned and operated and is a perfect fit for a hair salon in Riverside. The first time I went in for a haircut I was greeted with a smile and handshake. They offer free coffee while you are waiting and the building is very clean and well kept. For a men's haircut, they do not charge extra for shampooing which is so nice. My hair was cut exactly how I wanted it and during the haircut, the stylist and I had a great conversation. I felt like she was genuinely interested in what I was saying. The prices are great, workers are friendly, and it is in a great location. They also offer free clean-ups between haircuts which is fantastic because my hair grows so fast. There was no wait both of the times I went in there and I was treated very respectfully. I used to go to sports clips, but after having to wait more than an hour there almost every time, I will be now coming here EVERY time I need my hair cut. The prices are very reasonable compared to other places and the service is overall ASTOUNDING! Located right off Harlem and long common in Riverside. Lots of parking and in a very safe area. read more
