Front desk says no, can't accommodate with a smirk , I said can you explain why no one ever called me back... she stared me down 3. she says "do you want me to reach out to my manager?". ( while intermittently staring at her phone)I said no can you accommodate tomorrow? She says no. I said now reach out to your manager bc I want to know why no one ever called back. 4. Front desk response. I could text her, but I don't want to bother her bc she is sick today and she probably won't text me back. So I am not going to. 5. RESPONSE TO BUSINESS:…read more Let me get this straight, you are blaming me for your expired products and rude staff? Really? I was 100% given a hard time during the return process. The interaction was tense, dismissive, and uncomfortable, which is why I spoke up at the time. Whether that tone shows on "video" does not change how it was experienced in person. The facial also caused a major breakout. My skin is still healing! I've had plenty of facials before, and this is the first time I've ever had a reaction like this. I did not previously leave a positive review. This was my first visit and my only review. Instead of taking responsibility or apologizing, the spa is pointing fingers at me, citing "footage" and a supposed positive review that doesn't exist. Their response is ridiculous and only reinforces how unprofessional this business is. My original review stands. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've never had such a hostile and weird experience at a spa. I spent over $125 on a facial and $100 for two products for my birthday, only to find it smelled disgusting and when I looked at it more closely it was expired. From the moment I walked in and tried to return them, the receptionist was aggressive, rude, and interrogating, as if I owed her an explanation. When I mentioned returning the second unopened item (that wasn't "expired"), she treated me even worse. I literally had to say, "There is no reason to be so nasty to me?" because her behavior was so unprofessional. She then called the owner in front of me, framing the situation to deny the return. I was told she would "make an exception," as if the return was some huge favor. FYI, I was never told products were nonrefundable, and selling expired ones should be corrected without argument. To top it off, the facial caused a horrific breakout. I won't be returning and would caution others before spending money here.

Terrible customer service, rude and dismissive. I was debating on purchasing a package, she put the charge through while I was still asking questions about the package. I got an alert from my credit card company and she said she thought I wanted the package and would have to refund me. One week later nothing was refunded, and when I called to inquire she refused to listen and said it would have to go through corporate. When I asked to be allowed to explain the situation she said no you're done and hung up on me. I went to the location and asked for her name but she knew it was me and she literally said "I'm not giving you my name". I will never return to this location unless she no longer works here. If EWC is concerned about rectifying this awful customer service, I can also provide a photo of her so they know exactly which employee needs to be dealt with.

She got wax everywhere including the massage chair because of how messily she was applying the wax. She also had someone helping her out who I don't think had any experience with waxing given the way she needed constant guidance on what to do. She and her helper kept roughly yanking off the strips repeatedly, leaving several painful bruises on my arms and legs. I have been regularly waxing for over 10 years now and I am very used to the pain/discomfort/slight bruising in the aftermath, but this was not normal and was by far the worst experience I have ever had.
