While I understand that mistakes can happen, it became frustrating that it occurred more than once. I will say that when the correct service is done, the grooming itself is usually decent, it has just been difficult getting the correct service performed. Toward the end, they did acknowledge the situation, but it felt more focused on what I could have done differently rather than fully taking responsibility. I did want the bath and nail trim, but the most important service I requested was the shave. Unfortunately, the shave was not done. At checkout, I was initially told the total would be around $100 for the bath even though the main service I requested was not completed. I ultimately paid $66 for services that were not what I had asked for. When my dog was brought back to me, I was told he had been shaved to 5/8, which he clearly was not. After reviewing the groomer's notes, I was told he had received a contour and butt trim services I had declined at the beginning when they were offered. I had specifically asked for the same shave he received during his previous visit. I do acknowledge there may have been some miscommunication at the front desk, and I understand that mistakes happen. However, when it happens more than once, it becomes difficult to overlook. I also felt uncomfortable bringing my dog back to have it corrected because I worried I might be viewed as a difficult customer, and I never want to feel concerned about how that could affect how my dog is treated. Customer service and clear communication are extremely important when trusting someone with your pet. After reading some of the owner's responses to other Google reviews, the replies came across as unprofessional and poorly written. While I understand wanting to defend your business, the tone of those responses was disappointing. After giving several chances, I unfortunately don't feel comfortable bringing my dog back. I hope the facility works on improving customer service, as it is one of the most important aspects of running a business.

The technician was kind to our pet, but I was surprised that no one initially checked our pet's temperature or assessed his condition based on his symptoms; we had to remind the staff to do so before we left. Dr. C made a poor initial impression with his curt demeanor. He seemed short and almost dismissive of our pet's situation. For instance, he did not introduce himself when he came in and after a brief greeting, he pointed to the table for our dog and began his assessment without allowing us to provide input. He was halfway out the door before he finally asked if we had any questions. However, It came off as more of a formality versus actually caring if we had any questions and addressing them. The initial interaction, lasting less than two minutes, felt rushed and impersonal, reflecting poor bedside manner. However, Dr. C significantly redeemed himself when he returned with the medications and was very polite and more attentive. Additionally, a gentleman named Alex was extremely kind and helpful, answering many of my questions and putting my mind at ease in the reception lobby. Overall, our experience mostly positive and if I had to point out any areas of improvement , it would be the overall bedside manners that the doctor provided with patients. Ok so going to try to keep this as short as possible…read more I dropped my puppy off yesterday at noon to get groomed at THE LITTLE DOG HOUSE IN HARRISVILLE. I will not name names but the Individual at the front desk questioned me about how short I wanted to cut it. Anyway 4 hours later my husband called to get the status to see if they were close to getting done with our puppy. Same individual laid into my husband yelled at him and told him maybe 30 45 more min but he didn't know. So we waited for the call he was done. This came in at 4:45. Well we live in hooper they are located in Harrisville takes about .5 hour to get there with no traffic but being it was 4:45 there was traffic so we headed out as soon as they called. My husband got a call while we were on the freeway I could hear him yelling at my husband to get there now. Husband said we are on our way. Not even 5 min later he called me yelling at me to come get my dog NOW. I told him again we were maybe 5 min out if that. HE YELLED AT ME THREATENED TO BOARD MY DOG FOR THE NIGHT. Told him I was calling police. So we get there my husband went in to get our dog. Said individual threatened to call the police because my husband was trespassing after hours because they closed at 5 and we got there about 5:20. He told him to go ahead that I was already on the phone with the police. He brought our puppy out nicely then threw the leash and our card at my husband after pd. We waited until the police got there and while waiting he was storming in and out of the building slamming the doors and yelling at us. My 12 year old daughter was in the back seat sobbing. She was terrified. He was acting completely irratic and unstable. We said we were sorry you close at 5 but we needed time to get there. Police made sure we got our pup and made a comment on how horrible the cut looked after having him for 5 hours. The individual would not come out of the shop while the police were there. Called manager/owner this morning. Tried to tell him what happened. He hung up on me because he was busy. So my husband called and got our money back and owner/mgr said he would talk to the irrational individual we dealt with and the 2 groomers that were still there. This individual seamed to be unstable and I would hate for anyone to have this experience or get hurt because of his anger. IN SHORT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE LITTLE DOG HOUSE TO MY WORST ENEMY FOR ANY DOG NEEDS. HORRIBLE COMPANY AND THIS IS THE CUT WE GOT SUPER CHOPPY AND SLOPPY. I have had other family members quit using them for any source of dog needs. For this exact same reason.
