I came in asking for honey blonde highlights and even showed a reference picture. I specifically explained that if the exact color wasn't possible, I still wanted a noticeable blonde look, preferably on the golden side. Instead, I ended up with extremely thin highlights that are barely visible and nothing close to what I asked for. What upset me even more was the haircut. I clearly said multiple times that I only wanted my ends trimmed and cleaned up not a haircut. My hair was nearly waist length when straightened , and she cut it to bra length with layers that I never asked for. When I expressed that I felt too much was cut off, my concerns were brushed aside and I was repeatedly told "it's cute" and that I'd like it. I'm disappointed because I felt unheard throughout the entire appointment. I always get my eyebrows and upper lip done at the same time. It's always pretty quick, max 5 minutes, and the staff are always kind. They also have a loyalty card where after 7 threading sessions, you get a free one, which is great for a regular like me. The salon itself appears clean and modern with its red color scheme. I also appreciate how you can place tip on card, so I don't have to worry about carrying cash or stopping by the ATM before I come here. Furthermore, the rose water that they apply after the session finishes feels relaxing and my post-thread breakouts seem less severe afterwards. There are some cons that I find in this place. Every time I've went, there's only one person upstairs at the kiosk and one person in the store. Why even have three chairs if there's only one person who can thread at a time? This presents an issue when there's multiple people waiting in line, and you could be there a while. Prices are also high, but for me it's not too much of a deterrent since I'm given consistent solid service. There are salons in the area that do brows and upper lip for only $7, but I am nervous to try that again. All in all, I am grateful to have a reliable eyebrow place!
