I had been told by other salons that "you can't do that with your hair." If I ask for something impossible, they explain why, and tell me what we can do to come very close. I am thrilled that they were able to take my very dark thin hair and make it the complete opposite- healthy, bouncy and blonde! The colorists here are at an expert level- anyone else who has tried making my hair this bright has done nothing but turn it orange. They are very professional in the way that they do things- Stations are always clean, I am always offered a drink of water and a magazine while I wait for my color, and I never have color drip in my ears or eyes. I only wish I had found them sooner! The services here are comparable to other "nice" salons in Owatonna- you're not going to get a cheap wal-mart haircut here, but in return you get high quality service, beautiful hair, and product recommendations that match your needs. I will not tell you the name of my stylist however, because it's already hard enough to get an appointment!! They're all great.

I'm from out of town but she lives here in Minnesota and this was the closest place really. I'm not sure about the hygiene of the place, as they don't seem to clean out the pedicure chair tubs after each use, and I don't see any barbicide anywhere. They were very busy and rushed through our pedicures. Hopefully I don't get any kind of infection or fungus from re-used equipment that is seemingly only rinsed in the sink. She didn't use a top coat, and my polish slid off, even after she fixed it, there's still a spot missing. I also asked to use the restroom and it was down a long dark hallway, cluttered with odds and ends and the bathroom door is just open, so you do your business with the hope of no one coming down the hall. Maybe I am just used to the big city life, but this place could use some improvement. Otherwise, they were very nice and accommodating. Edit: Make sure your bring cash or check, as they do not take cards and it is NOT posted. I had to walk 5 blocks to find an ATM.

We sat in our chairs and she put water in for us. We waited a very long time while she finished the other lady. She finally finished the other lady about 40 minutes later. At this time I see her take all the utensils and puts them in the sink where she is washing them off but seems in no rush to get to us at all and says nothing either. We had to be to an event at a certain time that day and at this point we had already waited almost 45 minutes. We opted to leave and I told the lady we could not wait or we were gonna now be late. We left without our pedicures and we're so disappointed. This was supposed to be a fun girls weekend. I told the lady that if she would have given us a different time or told us she could not get us in we could have gone somewhere else or come earlier. The other concern that I had was with cleanliness. I am guessing she was gonna turn around and use the tools on us since she was washing in sink. If I am not mistaken those are supposed to be soaked overnight in chemicals. She had all kinds of used towels and clutter all over. I will not recommend or ever go back again too bad there isn't another nail place close.

They always do a great job and I get a ton of compliments. I think their pricing is pretty great with how much attention to detail they show. I'm one of those annoying ones with the Pinterest ideas, but they never seem bothered by it. I'm not usually one that keeps up with acrylic nails, but I've already had my third fill and I still have lots of pins on my board!
