Due to us being from out of town and here for Dr. appointments, we had to reschedule for a half hour later. They understood and happily moved the appointment. When we arrived I expected disappointed staff, but they where happy, friendly and cheerful. These folks seemed like they really enjoy being here and helping people. They went out of their way to help me! That's customer service. I made an appointment here based on previous yelp reviews and they did not disappoint. Thank you Yelp and especially thank you Chameleon Hair Design!

We had our bridesmaid hair done by a chameleon and it was not a great experience…read more -They were not very friendly or professional. Making snide comments to each other in front of clients. Seemed to get annoyed if a client asked them to change or fix something -The quality of the up-dos most definitely did not match the cost that they charged. Each bridesmaid had to have their hair re-done by a hairstylist from a different vendor to fix what they did. They did not seem to listen to the style being asked or able to execute them properly. They very much do "old school" hair (I.e- very tight buns, large poofs, etc) again, not at all the vibe anyone asked for. -Seemed to be a lack of communication/organization between the studio and the bride The studio brought more stylists than agreed upon, and threatened to charge the bride if their "chairs were not filled". Again, lacking professionalism with the way they handled this.

That's me by the way this is Stroh, I had to call her that because her husband was so wonderfully polite and I met him earlier, was lucky to book me all I had to do was call in and ask availability and even if she wasn't available there was a good chance someone else would be but this is a full service salon that anybody in Los Angeles with envy it is beautifully laid out it has endless options for all sorts of cosmetic needs... I literally would bribe every one of my ex-wives with the stay at this place. However the prices are incredibly reasonable and what you get in return is a value much greater than what you paid for. You need a trim, coloring, manicure, pedicure, full salon experience?? You won't go anywhere else seriously I think people should fly in from Siberia there is no better salon

We talked about a deminsional 7 and 8, but I received a level 7, and I'm leaving with hair that looks darker than what I came in with. The balayage in the same place as my original grow-out, nothing is anywhere near my root and I specifically asked for money pieces, which I don't have. I spent $100 expecting to leave with an improvement and hair that reflected what we discussed and the inspiration picture I showed you. Instead, I feel like I wasted my money and am leaving less happy with my hair than when I arrived. I understand you're offering to have me come back next week for a couple of hours to try to fix it, but the reality is that I shouldn't have to rearrange my schedule and spend more time in the chair to correct a result that didn't meet what we agreed on in the first place. I'm genuinely disappointed with the outcome, and I don't feel that asking me to come back for a correction adequately addresses the fact that I paid for a service that didn't deliver what I asked for. Just a waste of time and money in my opinion.

I liked her service and I made an appt to go back for another treatment, highlights, and a haircut. I asked for my hair to be brighter blonde for the summer. Alicia was running 40 min late so I waited in the area outside the studio. When I got in she colored me a dark blonde (through highlights) and charged me double the price I paid last time. I was sick to my stomach paying the bill but I graciously also tipped even with my dissatisfaction. She already had another client going between my appt so I couldn't say anything and not be polite....so I texted her later when she could answer on her own time when it was more convenient. She didn't like that I was dissatisfied. I didn't use bad language, I didn't call her personal phone and she told me I was the worst customer she's had in 27 years. And all I did was text her my dissatisfaction with pictures to show how different it was from what I had showed her I wanted. She told me I was harassing her. How so? She told me how awful my hair was in detail and how she's a senior colorist and that's why her prices were so high. It was not a good experience. Please beware.

I paid $450 for the hair and $164 for the service to have them put on. After a couple days I was very unhappy with them because they felt very tight and itchy and some of them were visible. I decided to have them removed. Josie, was very unhappy with my decision. She removed them in a back room. I told her she did a fine job but I just didn't like them and they are uncomfortable. She called me condescending (I wasn't) and said she no longer wants to do my hair and I should find a new stylist. I said to her, well I'm happy you have enough customers that you feel it's okay to cut off a customer. Previously, she would call me friend, and say you're funny, etc. then when she was so mad that I wanted them removed and she couldn't make more money from the hair extensions to be moved up every 6 months, another $150 every time, she no longer wants to do my hair and told me more than once that I am condescending. I was not. I was thinking how much this impulsive action on my part cost me and it was an expensive mistake. I never blamed her. I really felt crapped on. She wasn't even going to wash my hair after she took them out which she had to use some oil product to get them out and she knew I was going on some errands. I told her to wash it out, she carelessly washed and dried it. She then put my hair extensions in a bag. She said I could see someone else there and I said okay how about the girl that works by you and the other stylist said, she's no longer taking new clients. I said oh whatever and left feeling pretty unhappy with how I was treated. That's a joke, they take walk-ins but wouldn't give me the other girls business card. I give them a "F" in customer service! I looked at the extensions at home, she had ruined the tie in ones, they were a mess, I was going to try to sell them or something. Painful experience · Unfriendly atmosphere
