Honestly love this place. I can't speak a lot for the piercings, because I only got one side of my nose done there, but it turned out pretty okay. Had a tiny infection that resolved in a few days. New experience considering I've had 5 other piercings and none of them have gotten infected, so it more than likely was a mistake in my part. I will definitely go back there for an eyebrow piercing. However, the piercer Bob did a wonderful, and quick job. Explained everything she was doing as she was doing it, and was very helpful. Now for the tattoos? Incredible. First tattoo I ever got at outlaw was on my hip. I knew what I wanted, and what words I wanted with it, but had no idea how to lay it out. The artists, Jess, made it into a beautiful piece. She always gives me professional & artistic advice and ideas for my tattoos to make sure I'm happy with my end result. And when I thought this place couldn't get any better, I went into outlaw a couple hours after I had found out my boyfriend passed away in shock. I asked to get a memorial piece tattooed for him, and Jess immediately got me down for the tattoo 2 hours later. After that second tattoo I got from Jess, I knew I would be going back to her for more. They healed beautifully and vibrant, and I never had a a problem with infection, or the color falling out. Jess has also done amazing coverup/clean up tattoos to fix the old shitty ones I got when I was 16. Just when I thought Jess couldn't impress me more, my most recent tattoo came off of a design of a T-shirt. And the original design would've been a pain in the ass to try and tattoo. So what did Jess do? She spent over a month drawing out and designing my tattoo to make it look exactly like the logo that was on the shirt. You can just tell Jess cares very much about her work, and she's very passionate about art and getting creative. She will take any piece you wanna get, and make it even better than what you thought it would be. Her prices are also very affordable! Her station IS CLEAN and neat, has a light hand while she's tattooing. AND DOESNT! DRY RUB! THE INK! I feel like I could go on and on. The inside is quiet and peaceful. I never knew this "old staff" who worked at outlaw, so when I heard people were skeptical of it, I was shocked ! New staff will definitely impress you. My friend and I came here on Tuesday just for walk in piercings. We were then poorly greeted and told there was no piercer in most days and turned us away. So then we called ahead today(Thursday) and they said they had a piercer in and to come in. When we arrived the piercer herself said she could do ours after she does her next clients. We said perfect then not even a minute later one of the other staff at the desk told the girl before us she will have to wait and come back another day. Confused but we still were just looking at piercings then 2 min later the lady at the desk was asking us again what piercings we're getting and then abruptly walked away from us just to return and say come back tomorrow. Her only explanation was the piercer did not feel up to it because of the weather hurting her back. How do you only have a piercer a few days out of the week and she turns them away on the days she is working? read more

DON'T LISTEN TO THE OLD REVIEWS!! NEW STAFF IS AWESOME! Despite having terrible reviews I went to Outlaw to get my nostril and septum pierced and I'm really happy I did. Everyone there was incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. Even though I was that a-hole who walked in 30 mins before close with no appointment. Special shout-out to Bob who did my piercings. She took her time to help me pick out jewelry and explain to me everything that she was doing. She made me feel really comfortable throughout the process and I 100% am going back here for tattoos/piercings in the future. I went there for new jewelry for my piercings that were 12+ years old. The piercer put a WAYY too small of a stud in and my side of my face went numb a few days later. Then went back and she put a longer one in, but the back of the earring didn't exist, was digging into my ear then my whole opal stone fell out. This shit isn't cheap. I went to another piercing place for them to fix the issue. Not worth the headache. read more

Off the bat introductions were not that great as the piercing lady was rude and rushed and treated me and my friends quite carelessly. We came in for a multitude of piercings. I got my septum pierced and everything was marked up for the placement of my jewelry, I'm assuming she knew she messed up since she decided not to show me. Worst pain ever as the placement was off, from what my friends have told me septum's are not supposed to hurt and be sitting so low she also waited after piercing me to tell me I had a deviated septum. My friend got her spider bites done which was a quick process but now they are healing improperly causing under the surface bleeding which is not normal proper either. I would not recommend coming here unless you are looking for a quick choppy job.. I guess it's cheap for a reason. read more

Took my daughters to get piercings. They allowed piercing for my youngest daughter because we had the same last name. They refused to pierce older daughter because we do not have the same last name. I could not provide divorce papers to prove that my older was, in fact, my daughter. Given both daughters had birth certificates listing me as the mother, and my older daughter and I both had MN ISSUED ID with same address, they still refused piercing my older daughter. Sometimes a person has a child with a different last name and does not carry divorce papers for something like a piercing. I WAS VERY DISSATISFIED with the runaround of necessary paperwork to prove that my daughter is actually my daughter. Outlaw tattoo lost out. My older daughter received a nose piercing there over one year ago without question of why we didn't have the same last name. I WAS VERY FRUSTRATED AND ANGRY AND UPSET today. My 17 year old with a different last name IS ACTUALLY MY DAUGHTER. All 3 of us agree that we will not return to Outlaw Tattoos & Piercing. read more

This place is a poor one to get piercings. I got my naval done here and they pierced the skin too thick. They also did not do a nice job with sterilization and my piercing got very infected even though I cleaned it three times daily as suggested. I took out my piercing and am waiting for it to heal to go to a different place to get it pierced. I couldn't find a different piercing that would fit because it was too thick. I ended up having to use a clit piercing. I do not recommend going here. read more

WORST, MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PIERCING IVE EVER HAD!! Called them about a month ago when I was in town to have a dermal done and they said they did walk ins. Upon my arrival I mentioned I had just called and the piercer a apprentice was initially very rude and when I asked questions about the piercing she was very vague and didn't seem very well informed about the particular piercing at all but I was already there so I hoped the actual piercer would be nicer and more informative. After filling out the paper work and waiting 20 min I met the actual piercer and she was just as rude and very impatient as I asked particulars about the piercing but she said she had done them for some time, so against my better judgment I went through with it having already paid. I sat down while she grabbed the anchor and piercing that I had picked, and forceps then began sterilizing my cheek and then began. She used a tool to cut the skin and then grabbed the forceps/pliers to set the anchor. When inserting it she actually lost the entire anchor underneath my cheek and was unable to retrieve it. She then asked me to hold a paper towel to my check because it was bleeding in access while she went to grab a different pliers hoping it would help. When she returned a minute later she again began digging underneath my cheek while blood was pouring down my face while she dug everywhere looking hoping to find it. My fiancé who had seen me get multiple piercings starred in horror actually had to walk out because she was becoming sick to her stomach and then FINALLY 10 minutes later she found it but not before causing the entire left side of my face to swell and become throbbing in pain and having soaked the entire paper towel in my blood. I was just happy it was finally over. I then asked her aftercare questions which she told me her apprentice would advise me as she walked away and her apprentice had lil or no information other then not to touch it and to use a sea salt wash. When I asked where I could get the exact solution she just said 'most stores should carry it' once again being extremely vague so I asked for an aftercare sheet which she stated they were out and if I had any other question just to call. Being concerned and wanting to ask a few questions I tried calling them multiple times throughout the next week just to be put on hold and then hung up on and after being very frustrated I ended up calling Vishnu Bunny who answered all my questions and offered to fix it for free if I would just come in. I would NEVER go back to OUTLAW TATTOO and tell anyone planning on going to STRONGLY reconsider! I have 9 piercings and it was by FAR the worst most UNPROFESSIONAL place I have EVER been to in my entire life!! read more

My tattoo artist was very respectful and he helped me out with how it works and he informed me of the tattoo equipment and that it was all clean and new and the tattoo itself did not take long at all even though it was simple. I took my daughter in for naval piercing. The lady messed up and pierced it way too far apart. It couldn't heal because the ring was so short because she pierced it way too far apart. So belly ring constantly pushed on the holes and top hole started to indent into her skin from the constant pressure of top ball. Finally took it out to close and heal and it left big mark. When we went back to get re-pierced they wouldn't give discount on do it free to make up for the first time being screwed up since the same piercer wasn't there. So I had to pay twice for the piercings even though it was completely their fault the first time. They didn't even apologize or say anything about the piercers's screw up. SMH. Would never recommend this place for piercings. Starter jewelry was cheap looking and big gawdy stones in them. Also they offer a hoop as starter jewelry which doesn't heal correctly. Bad bad bad review for this place. Would give negative stars if possible. read more

First two tattoos were great. Went back for 3rd and a touch up and got the worst, most unprofessional service ever! Basically refused the touch up, which was part of the original guarrentee on the first two tattoos and kept upping the quote for the third tattoo I wanted. Didn't seem to want to do the job at all. Only smarted off comments and dodged my questions. I will never step foot in that business again and never recommend them. There are plenty of better places with twice the professionalism. read more
