Overall, my visit was fine. The staff was super nice and made me feel very welcome. My cut on the other hand left something to be desired. I consider myself a man who understands his hair and the current style I'm trying to work with, having worked on the same style with other stylists. I have to say I was a bit disappointed that my stylist at Salon Cache didn't really seem to listen to what I was saying. As a result I've had to do some touch-ups of my own at home just to achieve something at least closer to what I wanted. I might go back again, but I plan on exploring other salons in the area first. read more

What a great salon!!! I have major trust issues when I get my hair cut so I don't do it often, I usually hate it, and I rarely go back. Salon Cache was able to take me the same day and Gail did an AMAZING job. First - I liked the initial cut when I left the salon. Second - when I washed it, I still liked how it looked and I could do what I wanted to with it! (So rare!) Last, and most importantly, my friends who have great hair gave me compliments. As a guy, it's hard to find a place to style my hair instead of chopping off layers and length. The staff is different in that they are very attentive and check in while they cut to see what I think. The price is reasonable too. Even though I moved from Natick after coming here for 5 years, I will go out of my way to go back. A great salon! I have been looking for an organic salon, and this one is friendly, affordable and super convenient. Gail gave me great highlights. I've gotten highlights for years, and making the switch to organic dye rather than bleach has made my hair shinier and healthier! (Plus, it was so nice not to have my eyes watering and scalp burning during the process!) I got my highlights a few months ago, and the color has held up really well, and the cut grew out beautifully. The ladies in the salon were super friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and easy. As a crazy-busy mom with a full time job and part time small business, I don't have the time or money to have a bad coloring, so it had been a YEAR since I had been in a salon when I came to Gail for the first time. I was really nervous that I would get the wrong color and have to look at it for a year again, but Gail's chair-side manner was amazing. She really helped me relax because she really knows her product and her experience is evident. She took extra time with me to make sure she understood exactly what color I wanted (a really tough shade of medium strawberry blonde with honey and chestnut tones) I couldn't believe she got it exactly right, and told me that I could come back anytime in the next 2 WEEKS if I wasn't happy with it! But I didn't need to- it still looks perfect! She really pampered me and sent me home with huge organic shampoo and conditioner samples that lasted for weeks.
