MIchelle saved me!. I had decided to chop off 3 feet of my…read morehair and after 2 hours my hairdresser still couldn't cut my hair right to reflect the style I wanted. She had already gone too short in some areas and I was afraid to let her do anything else. I cried myself to sleep that night fearing I would have to shave my head and start all over. The next day my friend recommended Courtney who referred me to Michelle. Michelle saw me that day and within an hour she had me beaming with joy and excitement. Michelle was able to re-cut and style my hair to more closely reflect what I wanted. While I have to grow out parts of my hair that were cut too short by the other hairstylist, Michelle and I at least have a plan for getting my hair to what I do want. It's been a couple of weeks since I cut my hair and I still love this hairstyle. I get compliments from everyone that they love my new look! I am so happy to have found Michelle. I would highly recommend her service.

I have been under the haircare of Analise for four years, having followed her from her previous…read moresalon to Locks & Hue. In short, Analise is a hair phenom. There isn't a hair-related service she can't provide and provide excellently, at that. I've gotten cuts, color, highlights, keratin treatments, and extensions (both hand-tied and tapes) from Analise and am satisfied every time. She's successfully taken me blonde, red, and back to dark brunette (my natural color) And listen: I don't have naturally great hair. My hair is fine and even thinning in some areas but Analise has gotten it to a place where I have the ILLUSION of great hair (see review photos). Her "lived-in color" approach also means I can go a looooong time between sessions without it looking weird and grown out. It just looks totally natural. I've probably spent about 100 hours in Analise's chair. When I was looking for a new stylist, it was very important to me that I connected well with whomever was going to do my hair because when you do keratin and extensions semi-regularly, you know those are going to be flipping long sessions. And I definitely found that connection with Analise. She has become a friend and we always have great conversation during our appointments. Another thing about Analise is that she is constantly educating herself with classes and new techniques, which has allowed her natural talent to grow. Locks and Hue is a fabulous home for Analise and I think Lisa and the other stylists have formed a great group of talent. The salon is bright, clean and friendly. Highly recommend!

This review is long past due and specifically for hair stylist, Selina Straub…read more I found her off of Groupon where she was giving a deal on haircut and blow dry. The studio is a nice location but slightly hard to find; I had to ask a nearby business exactly where suite C/D was. But once I found it, Selina greeted me immediately. She wasn't upset that was 5 minutes late (which I hate to be)! She started off by asking what I was looking for, how much to take off, where I usually part my hair and how I like to style it. It really seemed like she wanted to give me the best experience, including a glass or cold water. Once she started the cut we talked about all of the life things you usually go through with a hair stylist and I felt reslly at ease being in her chair. Best part about it was that I saw she was cutting exactly the way I had described and wanted. I don't do much to my hair too often but when I do I will surely reach out to Selina again. Highest recommendation!

Courtney is of course the BEST hair magician around and the other girl who works there, Anela is so sweet. So it is always very welcoming to hang out there for a few house while getting your hair done. (I get the "I want it all package"). Previous review April 2, 2019: I have been through quite a few hair stylists in the bay area but when I met Courtney a few years ago, I knew my search was over. She gives me the best sun-kissed blonde ombre, root shadowing color ever. More recently, I was lucky enough to have her give me extensions for my wedding day. The amount of compliments I got from my hair color and the extensions were limitless. My hair was so perfect for my wedding day. She is super sweet, very relatable, and great conversationalist. This means a lot when you're in the chair for a few hours getting glammed up. The studio is super clean and styled very chic. They also sell Unite products which I love the 7 seconds and U oil (must haves). She also has the Sheila Stott brushes for sale and it may be one of my most favorite purchases this year. It is like giving a scalp massage every time you brush your hair. I would highly recommend seeing Courtney for all of your hair needs. She is busy and gets booked up very quick so if you're thinking about booking with her... do it asap!
