She squeezed me in before I had to take off on vacation. She really makes an effort to get her customers taken care of well! - The foot bath water was brought to me by Jill in a soaking tub. I've had a few pedicures like this before and the *other* ones cooled off quickly but not here! The soak was warm throughout and was a perfect temperature. It felt great! - I had a choice of a paraffin wax treatment or a keratin treatment. I decided on the keratin treatment and it was f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s! I have no idea how much cost the salon must take on with such high quality products but the special softening treatment left my feet refreshed and soft as silk for days! (Here is a tip: Go for "peach" keratin lotion. It is delicately scented in a very good way. Very natural and not at all artificial like other salons! - Jill is very good at pedicures! I got her complete and undivided attention for over an hour! Jill is very friendly and one of the best nail techs to talk to. I was so happy with the results that I booked another visit before leaving the salon!

Despite that, the stylist started cutting the back with a zero guard. When I asked her to fix it and make the back even, she then insisted on cutting the top as well. I do believe the stylist means well, but man the communication is off. At first, I gave the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe I was using the wrong terminology. I even pulled up photos and definitions on my phone to clarify what I wanted. I was asking for a taper, but it seems like we had completely different definitions, and she may have thought I wanted an undercut, despite having a wolf cut. For some reason there was a ton of confusion and was even told "it is hard to understand what you want, because you don't know what you want for your haircut". Simply put, it was a very frustrating experience for something that should have been simple and seamless. I've seen photos of your work online, and it seems like your salon does good work, which makes this even more disappointing. I'm honestly surprised that such a basic taper could not be done correctly. The end result, the side burns aren't even. The upper part on my sides are way worse.
