I got my facial done by Jennifer for a few times and i totally loved it. I wish i can have it done every week :D. I like how she uses specific products based on your skin and what you are comfortable with. I usually get the peel and facial with microdermabrasion and afterwards my face feels so smooth and dewy. Jennifer did way more than that! My skin feels completely different. And she was be able to discuss my skin issues with knowledgable insight. Jennifer is the best Aesthetician in OC. I got an amazing detox facial yesterday by Jenni, an esthetician in Salon A2 and my face hasn't felt (or looked) this good in years without makeup! The whole experience was very relaxing and Jenni is very thorough and detailed. I personally had a lot of build up and my pores are huge, so she really spent the time necessary on extractions which wAs very helpful to me and educated me on best skin care practices and things to do inbetween facials to ensure that my skin stays healthy, glowing and to reduce the appearance of pores. She is very patient, informative, professional, reasonably priced and truly cares about her clients and their skin care needs. Near the end of the facial, she gives a nice neck and shoulder massage which was definitely a plus . I didn't want to leave I was so relaxed! I would absolutely recommend Jenni to anyone looking for an experienced and caring esthetician in the area (I drive up from LA county just because she is that good). I found out about someone through mutual friend. I have had limited experience with the field of Aesthetics and was very nervous about getting a full-blown multi-hour facial done but I saw Jenni who is a license and experienced aesthetician and performed my facial and I must say it was one of those extraordinary and relaxing experiences a guy like me rarely gets to have. She took a full two hours for the facial exfoliated extracted massage my face neck and shoulders did everything in the world literally relaxing me to the point where I fell asleep at one point. Ok I was one of those people who went to the same stylist for 16 years. I was reluctant to change when I moved to the OC. I was worried I would have to go through a series of bad haircuts until I found the right stylist. I chose Salon A2 because of the great reviews. It turned out that those reviews were about the previous owners. Mai Nguyen had just opened the salon by herself when I first came in. This was several haircuts ago and I keep coming back. Not only is she a lovely person and generally full of positive energy and warmth, but she is also an excellent stylist. My hair is thin and I hadn't grown it out in years because it tends to look worse as it gets longer. Mai has managed to cut it in a way that looks thicker and stylish as it grows. My hair looks better and better all the time as it is growing. Mai knows what she is doing! A word of warning, however; Mai is a perfectionist who takes her time to make your hair look right. After arriving in South Laguna Beach, I discovered Salon A2 since it is right around the corner of my house. I went in looking for a basic haircut. I was staying in laguna for the week and I walked by the shop and went in. I was greeted by Mai, the owner and she was so nice. I told her I wear hair extensions and gave her very very very specific instructions which she followed so well. Its hard to find a stylist who will take the time and listen to you and value your feedback and instructions because you know how you wear your hair. Mai understood my instructions and I walked out with my hair looking great. I was impressed by the good quality of products she uses. And I believe this is never complemented enough, she does a great job of washing your hair at the shampoo bowl with an excellent blow dry. I will be back to see her again when I am in the area.
