I have been using Lisa G's services since 2014. She is wonderful. For a few years I was having issues with my skin and after a few facials and some skin advise conversations with her I was able to get my skin under control. Now my skin looks wonderful and I still come back to see lisa for facials quite often. Aside from my skin I also receive spray tanning from Lisa and it's by far the most superior tan I have gotten. No missing areas or orange color. It's perfect. In 2016 I had several huge contests and events that I had to attend so I took a make lesion with Lisa. I learned how to perfect my natural look and how to do a full glam look for nights out. Lisa gave me advise on what products I could get that work with my skin and also how to utilize what I already have. ALSO.... I regularly do photo shoots with Lisa in her studio. She creates some of the best work I have in my portfolio right now. My face and hair are ALWAYS FLAWLESS and her photography is perfect as well. I know I've already written a review, but I cannot rave about Lisa enough!! She is truly the only person I trust treating my skin, and I've never met anyone more knowledgable. I made the poor decision of getting the very few faint hairs on my cheeks threaded, well my skin freaked out and reacted horribly. I broke out with a bunch of white bumps the first 3 days, then for the next week and a half I looked like I had bad acne (like the type some teenagers get that are large and red). It was so painful! Lisa advised me on what products to use to treat it, did an amazing facial to clear it up, then suggested treatment to help clear up the blemishes left behind. I hired Lisa for an in home makeup tutorial. She was wonderful and went through all of the products and palettes I currently own and how to use them. The lesson lasted for about an hour and half and we were able to go over the full face. I have a lot of events I will be attending this year (10 year high school reunion) and wanted to be fully prepared to get glam. I wanted to have the healthy just got back from the island vacation glow for a very important event. I received an amazing spray tan from Lisa at The Foundation Studio, it certainly will not be my last. I was hooked instantly, the tan wasn't orange, I had no streaking, and the smell wasn't bad like some other faux tans. I loved seeing the results develope before my eyes. Lisa is the BEST! I will never get a spray tan from anyone else. I got my first tan from Lisa last year, and she made me feel so comfortable for my first time. I was planning my wedding in Southern California while I was living in Sweden, so finding a place to do my wedding hair and makeup seemed like a daunting task. I am SO GLAD I found Lisa. I cannot even begin to describe how incredible she is. When I met with her, I sort of had an idea of what I wanted, but she was willing to work with me to try a few different styles until we found exactly what would look best. She is a miracle worker. I got kind of funky sunburn a couple days before my wedding and she was able to make it disappear with her magical airbrush skills :) I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup on my wedding day. If there is one person you need to have for your big day or any special occasion it is Lisa. Lisa was actually recommended to me from our jeweler. Trust me when it comes to my hair and make-up I am SUPER particular so I did my research before I scheduled my first hair and make-up trail with Lisa. 5 minutes after meeting Lisa into my trial I was SOLD. Not only was her personality stellar, but she completely understood my vision and I let my guard down and actually got to enjoy being pampered. Lisa and I did 2 trials before my big day and honestly you probably only need one but I wanted to do one closer to the big day for my bridal shower. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Ruined my wedding trial experience. Don't waste your time or money. I never like to write bad reviews but she claims to use high end products but when I had my makeup trial she used all LA colors brand which can be found at the 99cent store. I broke out right after because of the cheap makeup she uses. I had saved up for months to be able to have a trial with Lisa G because the trial alone is very expensive. I am so glad I went in for the trial otherwise I would have had a terrible experience with my hair and makeup on my wedding day. She does not listen to any requests and only does things her way. The photos I took below are right after she had just finished my hair and as you can see it looks like a rats nest. Even after I sent her photos of her work and expressed how upset I was she still did not offer a refund. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID! I just had a makeup lesson with Lisa- it was fantastic! I never really used much makeup before, but my son is getting married and I wanted to be prepared for all the events and especially, for those every-lasting PHOTOS that will be taken. I brought in all my face products and cosmetics and Lisa helped me go through everything. She was VERY helpful with showing me how to use what I have and how to fill in some blanks. There was never a hard-sell for products. Then she showed me how to apply makeup specifically for my face for the look I wanted. Lisa did one side and I did the other side.
