My bestie and I needed a haircut for months and getting a haircut was definitely not on our agenda especially this is our "girls" getaway weekend. We passed by the salon while on our way to check in to Kimpton Hotel Vintage next door. I tod my bestie about the salon and suggested making an appointment before going to dinner this evening. I did a quick screening Yelp and noticed Paula's name was mentioned on multiple reviews. I called and was transferred to.Paula, asked if she can squeeze us into later on this evening. She asked if we can scheduled and I told her that we only have time today. Luckily Paula agreed to squeeze us in. We LOVE our haircut!!! We might just have flight back to Portland for future appointments!! Thank you Paula!!!! read more

I've been seeing Suzanne to cut my hair for years and she is hands-down the best stylist I've ever had. I have curly hair and she cuts it really really well, my daughter has straight hair and she cuts her hair equally as well. She really is a pro and sweet as can be. She's flexible and can work around my schedule and I hope she never ever ever retires. read more

Salon 615 - Hair Salons Near Me - Portland, Oregon

I'm a personal stylist and I brought my client to Suzanne the owner, for a new haircut. Suzanne was professional and caring and gave my girl the sweetest layered haircut with a few sparkle highlights just in front, to finish the look. My client walked out feeling like a million bucks, thanks Suzanne! read more

It was so wonderful to see Susanne after quarantine! The shop felt safe with appropriate measures taken to honor the current situation of corona virus. Wow...Where do I begin? I truly wish I could give Shelby Maguire at Salon 615 ten stars b/c she's THAT worth it. I've managed a salon and am in hair school myself now so I know the behind the scenes...trust me, she is THE BEST there is. As far as clients go, I'm as picky as they come. I'm the crazy client who waits weeks (maybe months...oops) too long to come in and wants my grow out to disappear and everything to blend. I want 2x the normal amount of foils. I want to be super blonde! I want my split ends gone but don't want to cut my hair b/c I'm growing it out. Sometimes I want layers, sometimes I don't. : ) Obviously, I've always struggled to find a stylist who understood what I wanted and had the skill to make it happen. SHELBY SURPASSES MY EXPECTATIONS EVERY TIME. Her knowledge of all things hair is AMAZING. She actually travels around educating other salons in the US! She doesn't ever push product but knows exactly what I need whenever I ask and can teach me the best ways to use it. She teaches me ways to style my hair on my own too! And she listens and remembers...Not just about my hair, but about my life. She's honest and her passion and love for what she does is apparent. I could go on and on...But truly, if you're looking for someone AMAZING, someone you can trust to give you her best....Shelby is the one you're looking for. Hope this helps! read more

This is one of the best hair salons in Pdx. Jessica is one of the color specialists and does incredible work. I've been coming here for almost 15years and I can not say enough good things. If you drive prepare to come early or take public transpo or a Lyft. If you are staying nearby this is a great place to freshen up and get that hair done right! read more

wow, I bumped into a good friend from years ago, and she works here! I needed a change of "hairs" so I booked in. fact is? I've been twice now, and brought my mom n dem..... considering I live in New Orleans, and get my hairs "did" here? should tell you what you needs to know ladies and gents! Suzanne does her best, when you lets her! I love telling a hairdresser? do your thing, and they do. She does it quite well. I highly recommend. I am a happy happy mardigras queen! read more

I've been seeing Suzanne for my hair for awhile now. She is amazing at knowing how to bring it the very best in your hair and the style. Since COVID we had to take a break. Now she's re-opened the salon and I am very impressed with her diligence and protocols to keep virus transmission risk as low as possible. So glad to be able to confidently get my hair cut again. read more

Everyone needs to go see Suzanne at salon 615. She took my hair to a new level! I wasn't super happy with a previous salon and didn't feel like I was ever getting the right cut or color to pull out my features. Suzanne was an expert at advising and giving me what I needed!!! I love what she did and feel amazing!!! She is experienced and able to suggest ideas to really suit your face. Also, the salon is super cute and has a great vibe. Easy to get to downtown. I recommend using the valet to make it even easier. read more

Susanne has been doing my hair for years. I appreciate her and have fun every time I go in. I've tried others before like if she's out of town and I'm being impatient and I've regretted it. Never again. She's worth every penny. Thank you S. read more

One of the very best haircuts and overall haircut experiences I have ever had. They give you a dressing room to change into a gown sort of thing so your shirt doesn't end up with millions of little hairs on it. Very experienced hair stylists and so friendly. And they let my dog sit inside and wait for me. So much better than that other place around the corner! read more

Shelby is a wonderful colorist & stylist, all the ladies are fun and professional! Love getting my hair done here!

Can I give more than 5 stars? My hair desperately needed a trim and wash during a recent visit to Portland, and I won the lottery when Paula took my under wing. She was fun, interesting and oh, yeah - a GREAT stylist! You can't go wrong here - everyone coming and going seemed delighted. Check out this small but mighty salon. You'll be glad you did! read more

I just got the best haircut ever from Suzanne. I am a former stylist and difficult to please, but trust me, this woman has skills. She is an artist. I booked my next appointment before I left the salon, and for me, that is unprecedented. My new short sassy haircut is everything I was hoping for. Trust Suzanne with your hair, you will not be disappointed! read more

Suzanne is the best. Always able to find a stylish hair cut and color for you - she is trustworthy and the results are super!

I am just in town for the weekend (40th birthday celebration) and thought I'd get a style and trim, help to celebrate the milestone. Jessie is the owner of the salon and she is just lovely. We started chatting about different ideas for what I wanted to do with my hair and I left it in her hands. UNBELIEVABLE haircut!!!!!! Not many stylists are gutsy enough to chop someone's hair off BUT SHE WAS!!!!! We coloured out the old highlights in my hair, gave me this edgy bob cut that I can wear straight or curly and dress up if I want to. She is amazing! I highly recommend her to anybody who is looking for a stylist. Unfortunately she lives hundreds of miles away from me but I will be back for a cut next time I come though this way again. read more

Jessie and Suzanne are wonderful. Very friendly, efficient and accomodating. I've been seeing Jessie for 4 years and she always gives me a great cut. I trust her completely with my hair and usually just tell her to do what she wants with it. I haven't had Suzanne do my hair, but she is always friendly and I've seen her work on other clients and she does a fabulous job too. The few times I've strayed from this salon, I've usually been disappointed and gone back to Jessie to fix the problem. Thanks Jesse and Suzanne, for being so awesome! read more
