    I was in need of an amazing haircut, color and wash. I found this place on Groupon. Yes the reviews for Groupon users isn't great but don't let that discourage you from coming in. And Patricia isn't the mean Queen she's been Refered to on online reviews. She's a very knowledgeable, thoughtful and caring person. Yes I was worried too, because I didn't read reviews before buying but when I came in, she's worked with me and made me feel at ease. Groupon or not, I was going to leave feeling and looking absolutely beautiful. She's gave me tips on how to treat my hair and didn't overcharge me. I know there's a lot of reviews that will make you worried that you will be ripped off, but it was honestly the opposite for me and my friend who also got a haircut and color from Voiletta. If you want a great cut, wash, color and style this is the right place. It's comfortable and cozy, atmosphere is up to date and stylish. Staff is knowledgeable, caring and easy to get long with and talk too. Will definitely recommend and come back.

    I had to wait 25 minutes after my appointment time before being seen by Patricia. Not sure, but maybe she overbooked. Once I was seen, I felt like she started to cut very quickly and cut too much from one side. So the right side is shorter by 1in than the left... The receptionist blow dried my hair and used too much heat. She burned my scalp several times.

    I have very fragile hair and I'm very careful with how I color it because it breaks and falls easily. I always have a successful experience coming to Salon 469.

    Hair falling out and was unable to blow dry

    Pressured to write review. Patricia was my stylist. She tried to not accept my Groupon code at first then added in $60 not mentioned in the Groupon at the end. Highlights super chunky and striped and randomly placed. Went back to get fixed to add more highlights and she bleached half my head missing areas In the front instead of adding more highlights to even out the dark stripes. Would not blow dry to show me what it looked like . Double booked me both times so she was going from me to another person. Will not go back salon 469. Now hair falling out.

    Overall - stay away & save yourself the headache. I originally found the salon on groupon and before yesterday I've been there 3 times with Patricia for an average/decent haircut. Each time I've had an appointment I've had an issue - they've ended up calling me to reschedule the day of; i showed up and they had me scheduled for a different day (which was not the appointment I made) or had me wait over an hour. I also always see someone else there having an issue or argument when I'm there and the staff always teams up and makes it seem like the customer is wrong - solid business practices. Yesterday I asked if they were able to turn me silver and i said if they weren't it's ok I'll just do a haircut. Patricia said she could do it. Before we started I said I had a groupon but I will pay extra if I have to to get the look as long as it comes out good. It didn't come out good. My head was all different shades - white, silver, brown and all different shades of blonde/yellow. She tried reapplying the toner which helped a little but still all different colors. She insisted that she achieved the look in the picture i had showed her (all silver - last pic posted) and after I told her I looked like a cheetah and couldn't walk around like that and would prefer she just cover it to my natural color (light brown). She agreed. As I was sitting with what I thought was dye in my hair (4 hours after arriving) she said this glaze would be beautiful- that I would have a sunkissed look with lots of natural looking highlights- *not at any point what I asked for* Also NOT her covering it back to my natural color like she said she was - but at this point I had already cried in the chair and missed out on hanging with my son the whole day and wanted to go home. My hair is awful. It looks like a fake light brown/blonde with uneven 'natural' highlights- one side of my head looks blonde and one side looks like ashe. I'm putting up some pics - none of which look like solid silver or solid light brown I will now have to go somewhere else to get it fixed. Insult to injury- she called me when I got home (I thought it was to apologize) it was to give me a speech about how small businesses don't appreciate when you buy a groupon bc groupon gets 50% of what you pay --- after I paid $80 on groupon, $50 for a glaze I didn't want & tip - not including what I will have to pay to fix this hot mess. Also - Patricia, then you shouldn't be on Groupon. Tell your receptionist to be present when she's on the phone making appointments and more than one person I know has stopped coming to your salon bc of how nasty Carla is. Good luck to you. I will not be back.

I called and tried to explain that it is not really fair to take advantage of the elderly in this way and got nowhere. Before she started, I informed her of my super-sensitive skin that reacts to everything, so I told her I could not have any harsh peels/exfoliations or electrical treatments performed on my face. I informed her that my dermatologist told me to use Cetaphil for sensitive skin as my skincare. Ywona said "okay, I will only do exfoliation treatment which is non-electrical and very good for your skin". I got hesitant and said: "let's not have any devices at all", but she interrupted and assured that "it is not a device, it is number 1 exfoliator on the market" and that she has been working for 29 years so she knows what she is doing. Ok. Ywona started the treatment and only then decided to inform me that it was not a regular step of the facial, but "oh, by the way, it is $125 extra". It is extremely unethical not to inform your client of this beforehand, especially when they do NOT ask for it! I told her that I came with a limited budget today and next time I will prepare better. She told me she would not charge me for this, so FINE. The rest of the facial felt rushed, the extractions were extremely painful to the point that I told her "it is okay if it is not ready to come out, just leave it, I don't mind". I have never had such painful extractions in 10 years that I have been getting facials. In the end, she put a warm towel to clean the mask off my face and my face was so irritated that it was burning from the contact with a towel so I told her that. I came home with leftovers of the cooling mask on my face. However, the WORST PART is that I spoke to my dermatologist and found out that this exfoliation should have NEVER been performed on my skin! First of all, it has to be performed by a qualified, experienced board-certified physician and the treatment has a list of contraindications (attached) which obviously did not concern Ywona. She never told me about them, never asked me if I take any blood-thinning oral medications (which I DO!), never told me it was bad for people with rosacea (which I DO have), or for people with moles (which I DO have on my cheeks), neither has she shared ANY of the details of the treatment, which turned out to be a SCRAPE OF A SCALPEL on my sensitive skin!!! Is $125 really more important than health and safety of your clients? Hope my unfortunate experience will help people be better informed before they come to this place.
