I had the worst haircut experience ever. I purchased a Groupon, for a color, cut, and style. When I gave them a picture of what I wanted, they told me it would be an extra $100 to add highlights. I agreed and paid the extra. The stylist was so aggressive. She was pulling my hair, and slapping my head with the brush as she applied the products. There was dye all over my skin, she didn't take any care at all. She didn't check my hair for over an hour, she was sitting down on her phone. The only thing she was good at, was a great scalp massage during the washing. I'm adding a picture of what I wanted and what I got. The cut itself is not super bad, just 3-4 inches shorter than what I asked for and an entirely different color that is ugly, as she put no toner in it at all. read more

Salon 360 & Med Spa is a salon I decided to try after reading some of the reviews on Yelp I decided to give it a try!!!!( Since my hair is long I am picky who does my hair!) It's very classy inside and at the time I went it wasn't that busy at all, so I got in at the perfect time! Abe was my stylist, I cannot say enough good things about him!!!!! He listened in great detail to what I wanted done. (I dyed it black and got it trimmed.) He didn't take too much off the ends just as I asked, and the color turned out great! It was not cheap as I didn't expect it to be, (You get what you pay for!!) I highly recommend Abe, I am happy to say, I'm sticking with him!!! Thanks Abe great job!!!! read more

Absolute nightmare going here. The customer service is terrible. They refuse to let you speak to management for botched services... I went in for a haircut couple days ago, and honestly he did a great job, however, the ends were uneven so I went in the next day hoping to have that corrected. What was meant to be a half an inch cut on one side, ended up being 2 inches off my entire head of hair. She washed my hair and let me walk out with half wet frizzy hair "oh you want me to dry it?" She asked me. ????? In what world do you let a customer walk out of your salon with their hair not even dried. Don't do a blow out sure, at least dry the entire head of hair, what even is that. I have been trying to contact management for 3 days I keep getting told call tomorrow. Save your time and your money. Absolute worst place I've ever gotten hair services. Upon calling the salon, I get told "the manager doesn't want to speak with you, you can't get a refund and there's nothing more we can do for you". read more

The woman that did my eyebrows asked my nationality and I responded that I am Iraqi. After hearing my response, she immediately took it upon herself to make the most hurtful and disrespectful comments I have ever heard about Iraqi people. I was told that I am "too pretty" to be Iraqi and that shes never met a skinny Iraqi.... I was also told that Iraqi people are "closed minded" and that we should stick to marrying our "own kind or yemeni people".....(wtf). She went on to say that her son had been engaged to an Iraqi woman and she did everything she could to break them up. To the former Fiancé, you dodged a bullet. To this woman, shame on you. I was in town for a wedding and made a last minute appointment for a hairdo. I was pleasantly surprised with the experience. My stylist was Hisham and he did an amazing job. Not only was it a beautiful hairstyle but it also held in place all night. He's very nice and attentive and professional and replicated the hairstyle I showed him perfectly. Updating review. I called and told them my issues and a manager called me back. She told me the owner Mona would call me and make it right, she did. Mona had me come in before her shift even started for the day and she fixed my hair and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Other then the older gentleman that originally cut my hair, I'm happy with my experience now. Just don't get it cut by a middle aged man, with dark brown hair, that accepts walk ins. My mom also had the same experience about 2 years before that I had no idea about. I started to tell her what had happened to me and she explained the exact same thing happened to her. She Went in for a walk in, the same guy cut her hair and messed it up and then she had to go somewhere else to have it fixed. Had I known that before going to this salon, I wouldn't have wasted my time but like I said, Mona the owner made it right and I'm very happy with my services from her. I've been putting off writing this review to see if I was overreacting and my mind may change. It hasn't. I first went to salon 360 to have my eyebrows done a month or so ago. Mona did my brows, they were $15. It was great. While I was there, I asked for an estimate to do a balayage and haircut. Mona quoted me $80. Wonderful. I scheduled my appointment and had it two weeks ago. My stylist, Samar (I believe) was nice. She seemed incredibly nervous. The salon was very busy with homecoming updos so I figured I would be in and out quick. I had my past shoulder length hair first cut roughly and then the balayage commenced. It was an incredibly, incredibly long process. I've been having balayages done for years and this one took forever! My appointment began at 1 and I left at 4:30. After the dying was done, onto the cut. I wanted my hair chin length and very light/white blonde. I brought several pictures and i told her I'm not super picky as long as the lightness is there and it's the right length. The cut also took FOREVER. She seemingly went inch by inch asking me after each one of it was the right length. (Chin length should just mean chin length?) until she finally got to an inch or so longer than the chin. I wanted it shorter but felt as though I couldn't possible stay there any longer to wait for her to take off another inch. She dried to to reveal the color....and it was no lighter than the color I came in with. Was it the lighting? I thought. I couldn't possibly wait another 3 hours for her to process my hair again. She also had clients waiting. I went to pay and to my surprise, the price was $180.00....WOW that's a big difference from the $80 I was quoted weeks before. I was furious. I still am, I'd say. Not only did I not get what I wanted but I paid $100 more than what I was expecting. I would definitely call this a shady business practice. All in all, I would definitely not recommend this salon. Although the quality of work was excellent it was not what I wanted and was far overpriced and the "estimate" was a complete lie. I will never go back the first time I went, I had an appointment with someone, and they ended up pawning me off on someone else, but the haircut was ok. Then I decided to give them another chance, I will never go back!! Hair is uneven, I think she over charged me was supposed to be a cut and style, and got my eyebrows waxed, she charged me 80 dollars for what!!! I would never recommend this salon EVER!! My boyfriend went in for a simple beard trim and haircut. Abe trimmed his beard unevenly (one side was higher than the other and hairs were of various lengths). Following the cut he sprayed his face with deodorant instead of after shave (twice!). Haircut was also terrible; Abe cut off hair in chunks and the back is uneven. When I alerted the receptionist that the cut was bad after she asked us "what was going on" she got defensive; which is unfortunate as her attitude led me to write this review. Looks are deceiving. On the surface it appears to be quality a hair salon and Spa...but these are amateurs posing as specialized hairstylists. I should have realized when I walked into empty salon that something was wrong. Outside of an obviously bored receptionist, walls and walls of glitz and bling, lots of product, and a technician doing her nails when I walked in there was no one there. This was all a really bad sign and I should have walked out. Jordan said that I would be in good hands with Esma. Esma who cut my hair with a pair of rubber gloves on because she had just finished doing her nails. Basically, I went in for a trim and walked out with a significantly shorter hack job compliments of Esma. In the middle of a horrible haircut and bad service, she tries to sell me a facial. What?! After that she tells me that she's a professional with hair color. A professional what? Possibly she has a certificate? Adding insult to injury, she slathers way too much unwanted product all over my hair. Perhaps she was trying to make it better. Instead I walked out with a greasy hack job and had to cancel my plans for the evening. Instead I went home, washed my hair several times to get the product out, and cried like a little girl. A little fearful of unknown salon and unknown hairstylist, I had been putting off making a hair appointment since relocating to the area. Finally after months of looking, with nothing to go on I decided to take a chance on Salon 360. Most unfortunate. It 's been a long time since I cried over a bad haircut. Most humbling. But then again, a bad haircut sort of hits a woman's vanity right below the belt, doesn't it? Sadly the bad hair experience I had been fearful of happened at Salon 360. read more

I've had my hair cut twice & my eyebrows done here. Poor work, but not the worst I've had in the area. The last stylist I had refused to cut my hair shorter because she didn't want to "shock me" and I could "just come back in a couple weeks if you want to take more off or anytime because I'm always here." No wonder this place is as dead as a rat in a trap. Give your customers what they want and don't take them for idiots. That's part of the fun of cutting several inches off of your hair. Evidentially she thought trying to manipulate me into thinking I should come back more frequently is good business practice. Check. This was Jenny. Jenny also did my eyebrows. I wanted to cry when I left. She didn't take one off, but socializing is much more important to this chick than her job. Maybe they ran off their business and are desperate for company other than each other. Asma did my first cut. It was OK, but not what I wanted. It did grow out well. She was the opposite of Jenny. Very quiet & almost rude, but not quite. She became irritated when I was describing what I wanted. Nice way to welcome someone new. Sorry to make you do your job. Don't let the decor deceive you. Why is it that their stylist decided to the complete opposite of what you ask, this being a male stylist. Especially when the only request being to "do not cut off more then a inch" on a maintenance haircut! It is so frustrating when it takes a year to finally get the length desired and then find 6-8 inches taken off on the floor!! The only compensation was 20% off a future haircut. Nothing worse then this attitude of we know what looks good so suck it up and like what I decide what you should look ok like. Horrible experience. read more

Ashley is simply the best. As a guy, I'm very particular with my hair, and still want to get in and out quickly. Ashley manages to give me the exact haircut I want in a short time, while still being friendly and pleasant. She is also quit the interesting person to have a conversation with about happenings in the metro Detroit area! The receptionists are friendly and know you by name. Upon walking in, you are greeted and offered drinks (coffee, water, mimosa, etc). The wait is short since they take appointments, but they make sure you have a good experience from the moment you walk in. read more

If I could give a negative one review I would. I had an appointment with Mona, the owner. She greeted me and sat me in her chair to go over what I wanted. All of the sudden she tells me that Abe will be taking over and she walks away. Didn't ask. I was coming in for a full highlight as I'm a blonde and Abe apparently is not a pro at doing blonde hair because he over processed and broke off my hair, left me with tiger stripes, and lots of dark hair underneath. I complained, but he speaks little English and just kept saying "It will be all right". I paid $220 for this to happen to my hair. When I got home and saw how bad my hair really was, I attempted to call Mona for the next several days. I left messages which she did not return. My husband had to call and finally speak to a manager as she would not call me back. It was the week of Christmas and the only thing they would offer me was for Mona to fix my hair. I wanted my money back since I felt her customer service was completely non existent and my hair could take no more abuse. Beware. This used to be a great salon. Now they charge high prices for a quality that they do not deliver. read more

Bad ... Bad color job done by Esma. Went in with beautiful dark hair, wanted to go lighter for the summer, done this many times before. Left with orange roots a dark middle, rust ends and blotchy plum in the back. Another stylist attempted to fix but it was a botched job. After paying them $157 plus dollars, I went to Sally's picked up a 9$ box of stripper and a 5$ bottle of dye and my hair looks amazing just what I asked for which they could not do on 2 occasions. I was out in Michigan for a fancy wedding at The Henry Ford Ballroom and I really needed my hair and makeup done well. The hotel recommended Salon 360. All I can say is I wish Zeinab lived in Connecticut! She did a fantastic job with my make-up; I was very pleased. She even wrote a step-by-step procedure for me to follow to duplicate the look (yeah, right). She definitely went over and above. Likewise, the gentleman who did my hair was excellent at his craft. My hair came out just like the picture I showed him. He even gave me a small amount of hairspray to take along. My sister had her hair styled and was also extremely pleased. If I lived in the Dearborn vicinity I would absolutely go nowhere else for hair or make-up. They are the "Cream of the Crop"!!!! read more

Beautiful salon with super talented stylists!! I was here over the weekend as a new client. I found my stylist, Jessica, on Instagram, as i had been following her page because I thought her work was amazing. The salon was very tastefully decorated and clean. They also offered complimentary mimosas! :) it was busy but not overally busy..you can tell they book appropriately. Anyways i came in with box dyed red hair. I am a natural blonde and wanted it back. Several people had told me that going from red to blonde was going to be a nightmare, so going into it i was kind of nervous. Jessica explained all of the steps involved and made me feel better about it. She was straight up and honest as well, and made sure i knew what to expect. She explained that red is one of the hardest colors to get out and that I had 2 options, quick and damaging or a longer process with less damage. I decided to go the route that wouldnt totally fry my hair to the point where it felt like straw or worse, break off. She took her time and did a 4 step process which took about 6 hours. I was happy with the end result. The red is no longer there and i am blonde again. I will have to go back in 4-5 weeks for more highlights to brighten up the blonde, but considering what i started with, its such an improvement. I would recomend this salon. It was an overall enjoyable experience with a good end result. They also offer many other services like tanning, waxing, nails, even botox and filler! read more

I took my daughter to Salon 360 in Garden City to have her hair colored. The top of it came out yellow. No where near the color she picked out. I asked if the stylist was going to put toner on it she said no. The owner told the stylist to put toner on it. It was better but still yellow. I called the next day to see if the owner could do something to correct it. I was told I would have to pay $50.00 to have highlights put into it to correct it. I called another salon that accommodated us that same day. The owner at that salon not only corrected my daughters hair color for a reasonable price but shaped up the cut I got from Salon 360 at no charge. I believe in good customer service, Salon 360 should have corrected their mistake free of charge! read more

I thought Salon 360 would be a professional and upscale salon, but after my experience there, it is anything but. When I walked into the salon, the receptionist (who was outfitted more for lounging at home than working a front desk: sweat pants/big sweatshirt, flip flops, and her hair in a bun) apparently had to finish an article in her magazine before looking up to greet me. I have worked in customer service, so that was extremely off-putting and I really wish I had walked out. Asma was my hairstylist, and she continued with the unprofessionalism. While shampooing my hair, she let the cold water run on me for a solid minute and a half while she checked her phone. The haircut itself was decent, except for the bangs. I asked for wispy, long Bridgett Bardot bangs, instead I look like a llama. I wish I were kidding. All of that seems bad enough, but the worst part was that I was terribly overcharged for it. I was appalled when I found out that THEY CHARGE TO BLOW DRY YOUR HAIR. What on earth is up with that? Of course I want you to blow dry my hair, who lets their client walk out of their salon with wet hair? $60 later for a cut I am extremely disappointed and they will no longer have my business read more
