This really is my go to place to get my brows done. I came here once several years ago on a whim…read more My first visit, I had my brows "mapped". As a consumer skeptic, I thought it was just a scam to make me feel like the price was worth it. But, then I saw the finished product and was wowed. The Brow Bar has had some turnover in the years that I've been going and each time my regular girl left, I'd think to myself - "Now is the time to break free from the more costly brow wax and go somewhere new." And, I did - more than once. And, every time I left those places not happy with the product. When that product is on your face 24/7 - you want to be satisfied. So, back I went to Ulta. If you are looking for a superior brow experience and result, visit the Brow Bar at Ulta. Personally - I think Betty is the best!

Christie and Betty do an excellent job and they are both really nice girls. Eyebrow waxing is $20 before tipping. Believe me girls, it is worth it. Yes you can go to a nail salon and get your brows waxed for like $10, but you'll get home and finish plucking them yourself (been there, done that). At the Benefit Brow Bar I've never had to go home and finish the job. They are perfect! Once I get them waxed here I'll pluck them myself for a couple months, following the shape. Once they start getting a little wonky though, I'll let them grow in a bit before coming back to get them perfected again. While they are doing your brows, they'll teach you how to use their products so you can make them look just as good at home. They will also put some concealer on you so your face isn't all red and puffy when you leave the store. Benefit make-up is my favorite brand. I wear the lightest shade of brow zings and have been using the same one for about a year. Yes, Benefit brand make up is more expensive than say Ulta's brand or Revlon, L'Oreal etc. but it lasts a really long time and it's higher quality.

There are little trinkets to prints or kitchen goods to wallets to jewelry to name something, it's probably there. Price wise, it's not bad at all. I bought some prints for $22, which was cheaper than going directly to the source. It was also letterpress! In any case, it's a very lovely store with quality products, that's priced reasonably. They also will wrap up your item if you need it as a gift. Well, I just noticed that the owner wrapped up a set of glasses for a customer in a box and it was ready as a gift. Very stylish and very simple. Overall, I would come back because it's just such an awesome store.

I credit every staff member for the positive experience. Staff floated around with ease, politely checking in on people and socializing with people. They were fun, knowledgable and seem to know exactly were everything was, to the location and shelf. Impressive. The staff member at the register - so nice as well. They had a lot of specials that day, discounts, combo purchase deals etc. It's a little crammed in there when there are a lot of people, so I wouldn't recommend bringing the entire family in the store, just those buying and helping with recommendations. Prices seemed reasonable for a boutique store. If my sister wants to visit, I won't hesitate to join her here for a little shopping fun.

I always make sure to go to Sun Tan City because they offer a variety of beds and their prices are decent for what you get. I always love the fastest bed, which is comfortable and has a specific feature that tans your face evenly. This location has always been a go-to, however, from my recent visits, it seems as though the service has gone downhill. When I went to go sign up for my month's worth of tanning with my husband and a friend, there was only one person working, and apparently signing up is a long process. Due to one person working and one person trying to sign us all up, there ended up being a very large line of people just waiting to get signed in to tan behind us. Being an already anxious person, the heavy breathing and eye rolling that ensued from the customers behind us made the experience stressful. On top of that, the one person working felt like she needed to explain to me and everyone in the building that she was the only one working and that someone else was supposed to be working at that time but that they hadn't arrived yet. It was clear that she was stressed and everyone else was stressed because of it. Finally, the other worker came in, and even though she saw the line of waiting people, she took her time taking her jacket off and then she tried to start having a conversation with the worker that had been there by herself. Being that there was a substantial line, I would have thought that she would have been more prompt in helping sign people in... Also, I'm weary of the cleaning procedures at this location. Prior to my recent visits, I was always comfortable in knowing that my tanning bed would be clean, however, there have been a couple times when I have gone to tan and a worker needed to clean a bed. Each time this has happened, they go out back for LITERALLY 20 seconds and they are miraculously back to tell me that my bed is ready. Now I make sure to wipe down the bed myself with a towel. This location definitely has some things to work out as far as their workers and customer service.
