I was not thrilled with this location. I came in knowing the brand I used years ago and was going to grab it. X has never let me down when it comes to hair product and I don't like to use other brands - just a personal preference.
As I walked in the sweet gal at the register greeted me and asked what I was looking for, I told her but I was already heading for the direction and she agreed. She tailed behind and I let her know I knew the brand and color I wanted, I just needed to figure out the shade.
She completely derailed me from my brand to an alternative and raved about it being popular, beautiful color, great, etc. it was similar in price so why not. She grabbed double the boxes needed for my hair.
Then she tried to encourage me to buy the pricey developer over the one I normally buy. Like goodness lady. I get that you're doing your job by bringing in money for your business but I have been doing this for years before I took an extended hiatus. You are leaving a bad taste in my mouth and the trusted brand that Sally's was to me is becoming tainted.
The worst part is she failed to mention that she knew X was my brand..... she knew the price of it.... $6.59 and it would have taken me no more than 2 boxes. For something I came into the store for. 2.4 oz of product...
You sold me 4 boxes of 1.2 oz of a product for $7 a piece.
I ended up returning the product once I got home excited to do my hair and realized it wasn't what I wanted at all. Sometimes you have to go with your gut feeling and not someone else's opinion. read more
