This was our first time using this company and our experience was terrible…read more When we dropped off our garage window to have pane replaced, John told us they could replace one pane of glass in the double pane window for $26. A week later when we stopped to see if it was done they had broken the other pane of glass trying to get broken glass out. On this day the lady working who had a terrible attitude and ran down every other employee that worked there stated it would now be $68 to fix, even though they broke the 2nd pane. She stated it would be another 7-10 days. So we go back in another week and it still isn't done, so we wait while the guy finishes it up. While we are waiting, we ask for an invoice and was told by the guy in the office who stated he just does the computer work that they don't do invoices. So we ask if we can pay while we wait, he states using a card? we ask how much our bill is and he replies I don't know. How can we pay if nobody knows what the total bill amount is? Ridiculous! We get home and one of the latches to lock the window with is broken off. They were both on when we took the window in. This business is poorly ran and no customer service or professionalism. WE will find another glass to do business with in the future.

Sunshine Roofing

We obtained four bids, all of which varied widely in cost and curiously in the estimate of materials needed. Based on some strong word-of-mouth recommendations, we went with Sunshine Construction, although they were not the cheapest bid of the bunch. These guys truly impressed me. When they began stripping the old roof, they encountered some surprise issues relating to the ridge vent that altered the work they planned to do. This change resulted in a price change in my favor. They arrived on time each day (it was a 6.5 day job). They tidied up each afternoon before leaving. No one was home on their final day, but I watched the security camera footage of a very meticulous cleanup process, and a final walk-around by the site foreman. The entire crew was courteous and professional. Thankfully they were also quite careful with my wife's shrubs. If their attentiveness to detail is any indicator, I expect the roof to perform well. From the ground it looks fantastic. I highly recommend them.

Old Forge Metals

I had been contemplating adding a…read moredetached garage to my home, but after researching many over the past 2 years, I finally decided a metal carport would be the best option to have a multi-use space in my backyard. However, when it came to finding the right dealer and carport manufacturer, that's enough to drive anyone crazy! Thankfully, Tom at Old Forge was very patient and let me ask many, many questions during a few different calls. He never gave me the runaround or the "used car salesperson" pitch. After seeing the varied reviews on carport installers, I was really nervous, but the crew was awesome! They came on the date scheduled (even a little early), got right to work, and were finished in 4 hours. The crew worked like clockwork, and each member had a specific job to do. My carport pad was already done and very level, so that makes a big difference. I'm extremely happy about the whole experience and would highly recommend Old Forge.
