We bought a home that was nearing the end of its life expectancy for the roof. There were a few…read moresmall leaks. We obtained four bids, all of which varied widely in cost and curiously in the estimate of materials needed. Based on some strong word-of-mouth recommendations, we went with Sunshine Construction, although they were not the cheapest bid of the bunch. These guys truly impressed me. When they began stripping the old roof, they encountered some surprise issues relating to the ridge vent that altered the work they planned to do. This change resulted in a price change in my favor. They arrived on time each day (it was a 6.5 day job). They tidied up each afternoon before leaving. No one was home on their final day, but I watched the security camera footage of a very meticulous cleanup process, and a final walk-around by the site foreman. The entire crew was courteous and professional. Thankfully they were also quite careful with my wife's shrubs. If their attentiveness to detail is any indicator, I expect the roof to perform well. From the ground it looks fantastic. I highly recommend them.
