I have also personally heard from others who described their consultations with the surgeon as intimidating and said they felt judged during the process. A consultation should be an opportunity for a patient to feel comfortable, respected, and informed--not intimidated or made to feel unwelcome. Based on my experiences, I would not recommend this practice and will be taking my business elsewhere.
