Once I entered the location I was greeted by the front desk help and he told me that the doctor would be out to see me soon. I was taken to the back with an assistant who did some generic eye tests prior to the primary exam by the doctor. Both were very friendly. The doctor greeted me, told me what the process was going to be, and walked me through the processes and steps that I would go through with the eye exam. The doctor was very knowledgeable and offered suggestions and also techniques in order to better take care of my eyes. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I had a thorough exam. It was a good experience.

The worst was my right eye which was 35 eye pressure and optic nerve damage. The left also had glaucoma. She referred me to Dr. Gago, specialist, and with two kinds of drops and laser treatments brought by eye pressure down to 20 and below. However, the damage was done. My eyes have been stable but I am afraid to have the necessary surgery which I can no longer put off. Hopefully she has learned from her mistakes as a Doctor but I would think twice about getting her as your doctor.

Dr. Takahashi was very thorough, and also explained every process she was doing and what the test is looking for, etc. She also is very personable and spunky. She offers the retinal scan for $30 (it's elective), so you dont have to do the dilation drops that make your vision blurred for a few hours, so that was nice. This is a world of difference compared to the Pearl Vision up the road, and even compared to other private practices I've used in the past. I definitely recommend coming here for a much more thorough eye exam, and more personal and professional care. TIP: The location is actually tucked away on a side street behind the Panera. Also, although her suite is technically in the 955 building, it's better to drive past the first parking lot for #955 towards the next building, and then turn in to the parking lot, as her suite is on the other side of 955.

I didn't even make it to see the doctor, the woman was so rude I just cancelled my appointment. When asked why she was so rude, she called me "loud." I am a Black woman, I was not yelling, raising my voice or getting upset. I was simply trying to understand why I waited 20 minutes with no update. I would not suggest going here, especially if you're of color. They clearly overbooked their appointments and will take no accountability for wasting your time or stereotyping you.

I will continue to go here as long as I live in the area- the service is unbeatable. First of all, and most importantly for me, you know that nasty part of your appointment when they numb your eyeballs, dilate your pupils, and touch them with that stick thing? YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THAT HERE!! You can actually opt to do a digital image of your eye instead, so you're not out of commission for the rest of day due to light sensitivity and generally feeling icky. Yes, it was $39, but SO worth it! They just took digital pictures of the inside of my eyes, and then actually showed them to me on a screen and explained what everything was. It was fascinating. And they store them in their computer, so if my vision ever changes, they can look back at past images and see what went wrong. Amazing. Dr. Bohdan and the girls who work there are all super friendly and helpful. Also, they sell the big bottles of contact solution (the good stuff, BioTrue) for only $5, which is definitely something I'll be taking advantage of.

I have a 800.00 cal year deductible on medical insurance and a $10.00 copay on vision insurance. I had to pay $127.00 for my eye exam because of the way he had the exam billed.
