I have come to realize this is a lifestyle change that I've adapted to and really enjoy it! I have tried all sorts of exercise classes, boot camps, fad diets, and never stuck with it. I can truly say it is all Heather's doing! She inspires me! I am blown away by her wide-range of knowledge! While on the floor it's about training properly, muscle activation, muscle engaging, focus, mindset, posture and so much more ...and oh! BTW ...my posture has never been better and my body is really taking shape! Heather also helps me with my macronutrients, calorific intake or any specific foods/meals she feels I should be having, increasing or decreasing. She keeps me in check! Heather has really invested the time to build a strong rapport with me. If I have questions she encourages me to ask. She actually thrives on it! Our sessions are always fresh, so it never gets boring and the educational component makes for an enhanced learning experience. I went along with her because we wanted to take a quick look around. However, the staff's demeanor noticeably changed once they saw us, making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The entire visit lasted barely a minute, and nobody even offered to show us around or explain anything about the facility. We weren't asking for anything unreasonable, just a simple look around the gym. You would think that an existing member visiting a different location would be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism. First impressions matter, and the way we were treated left a bad impression. Customer service and friendliness should be a priority, regardless of whether someone is already a member or just visiting. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location.

Andrew went above and beyond by getting both my son and me set up to use the gym, and I really appreciated the hospitality. The staff was friendly and welcoming from day one. The gym was always well kept and had a great flow, with all the equipment I needed to stay on track with my workouts. Because that was the reason I chose this location and they do not post online maintenance issues so I couldn't plan ahead. So this made the inconvenience of its location even more of a problem for me. As I was mentioning this to the person at the desk for my cancellation form, which I wasn't allowed to fill out on my own, the woman under her breath was mumbling about the pools not being out of service. It was extremely unprofessional.I just expected a different experience for the high cost they charge and the sales pitch they give during your tour. Things just didn't add up. And since they require 30 day notice I'll get charged for one more month which I'm not mad about just mentioning for anyone considering signing up for this place. Just know that you either have to call ahead or get surprised when you arrive if something is out of service or not working. And maintenance doesn't seem to be a priority here.

The rehab staff at both sites are exemplary, the pools, not so much. The pool in Salinas has been out of commission for close to a year (as of 4/26), so those of us that rely on aqua therapy have been left behind. When dealing with staff there was very little assistance offered, but quite a bit of attitude. Since it's covered by our insurance, unlike other gyms in town, we'll probably just wait until it's repaired, since no one offered us the possibility of just going to Marina.

She would record me when THEY KNEW I HAD MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES but proceeded to treat me indifferent & uncomfortable. When I am placed in these situations, I will say dumb, stupid things & lose my temper. May have cursed but never cursed at anyone & when you told several different things & sometimes, they had bad days & said things uncool. My overall experience their went from fun times to being felt judged & nitpicked at. When I was out of shape & skinny things seemed fine but once I started to get in better shape & wanted my support for my aging body as a man....I'm told im wrong for this? Why is it anytime my life starts to get better that someone ruins it other than myself crashing & burning. So little support or encouragement. Overall, they did not provide me with the recovery to driving again....I SHOULD BE DRIVING AGAIN but physically UNABLE & was in this program for years. They just eventually tell you dont come back for some time & I regret going back. They don't even have a good gym culture, and they WERE SO FRIENDLY & misleading & then out of nowhere super strict. They left me feeling confused & upset many times over the years. They did not care about my mental health or overall goal to drive! Honesty wasted my time making friends that turned around to ruin my life like so many do. Learn to treat people with known mental health issues better & dont have a therapist pretend to be their friend just to get uncomfortable with things they said. Honestly, I should of never opened up with anyone that was not a Dr. for mental health. That was my biggest mistake.
