It was 8 p.m. and we had no cell service. A kind stranger stopped and let us use his phone so we could contact our roadside assistance. It took quite a while as apparently there were several emergencies that night. When Tyler (our tow truck driver) finally came, he very efficiently got us all hooked up. It took some time as he had to drop the driveline. We rolled into Toppenish about 1:30 a.m. exhausted but when he went to the address our insurance company gave him, it was an empty parking lot. Toppenish is not the safest town to be in, especially at night so Tyler called his boss, Cody and asked if he could bring us to the tow yard in Granger for the night until we could arrange for repairs the next day. We stayed over and a kind Auto Zone employee brought us the truck part we needed and we got out of there around 3:30 p.m. It was really nice to see that there are still so many good people in this world. DOL.WA.GOV states right on their website that when you PURCHASE a vehicle the new owner has 15 days to transfer, yes we should have done the report of sale in a timely manner, but we did not, the new owner is still responsible for transferring title which I tried to explain, which is also why there are $ penalties when they finally go to do so. But I understand towing companies don't need to care about their reputation. Shitty customer service guys. Was just trying to help a fellow auto related company out. I've been doing this type of paperwork stuff for over 30 years, and I know how frustrating it can be sometimes. So much for trying to help out.
