They overcharged me by $10 on my debit card. I don't think this was a honest mistake. And the guy wasn't to friendly.

OMG the views are amazing…read more. Went right in the middle of their tourist season, yes its 2 months long at least and it gets crowded for a small village standard. this place has parking but its a first come first serve and it gets hard when everyone else is looking for one. Love the Lagers ( im a hazy Beer person ) but these remind me of my local brewery. Lovely owners, magagers, team players that make the entire trip well worth it. you can even bring your Pet. Now im sad i dint bring mine :( PS: i took some beer to bring back home and still have it in the fridge for that special occasion. Maybe have a collab with my local place, they make a mean Pumping Spice and Ocktober Fest

Outdoors is dog friendly and I made some furry friends while sitting out for a drink! The German style beers they have on tap included some unique finds and some styles you don't see too often. Bartenders were very friendly and helpful when I was trying to decide what to get, as lagers and ales are not my usual go tos but made up the majority of the offerings. I got the Salem Ale, a helles style, in a half pour- I love that they offer this smaller size since their other glasses are absolutely massive! This was an easy drinking, smooth beer with low hops, just what I wanted for a hot summer day when I only had limited time to spend here. My drinking partner also enjoyed their selection, and we really enjoyed the location. Would love to go back, very chill vibes and the people there were all so friendly and happy, patrons and employees alike - a rare occurrence in Massachusetts!

A little review. I headed out to Beer & Wine Hobby in Woburn expecting inflated prices and dude…read morebros talking over me in the hopes of buying a few packs of yeast. I was pleasantly surprised and way overspent my budget Prices are cheaper than Amazon on many things and only SLIGHTLY higher on other items. I could have gotten my mini auto siphon for the same price. Bottle wands are the same price. Bungs are a little over $1 each and airlocks are $1.50, so cheaper than Amazon unless buying in bulk. In fact everything is pretty close to Amazon, and in the case of glassware- cheaper. (and safer.) The 1gal jars I use for kombucha are under $7 each. Making a case $28. I paid $20 on Amazon for 2 booch jars. Glass 1gal carboys are also just under $7. You have to buy a growler cap for them separately. Or just get a universal bung. They have cheesemaking supplies, kombucha and kefir cultures plus all the right parts for getting those things fermenting right. I might've found my new favorite place.

The great thing about Beer & Wine Hobby is actually the classroom setup. There are a bunch of beer…read moreand wine supply places around MA but most aren't really set up for a class environment. My novice beer making setup kind of died (my fault in storage) so when I feel upon a deal that would give me a little reminder class and a whole new setup I jumped at it. YAY! Still, there's a place by me that blows this place out of the water when it comes to supplies, so, you know, there's that.

Pamplemousse - Will get these next time!

Love this place. They've thought of everything gastronomic and culinary. I've been introduced to…read moregreat bottled sparklers, kitchen accoutrements, specialty salts and good, good chocolate here. Speaking of chocolate, it's the local spot for me to go for my treats from home (Crunchie and Aero, I'm looking at you). They always remember me which is a very nice touch. I definitely come in on a basis from nearby Swampscott, but I am sure they have more regular regulars in a city of locals. The attentiveness is so appreciated! They even ordered a product I told them I'd be happy to see in stock! I am sure other reasons went into that choice, but it definitely brought my experience to the next level! In sum, amazing selection, very well curated, and the service is out of this world. Excited that they've opened a new store, because nothing makes me happier than seeing a small business succeed. Most of all, success of a small business well executed by great people who are passionate and good at what they do! Can't wait to check out the Reading location.

The workers were incredibly kind and they had a vast selection of stuff. We ended up buying some mead and wines for our game night! Would love to return when I visit again (possibly in busy October this time instead of calm April)!

Pamplemousse - My friends and I tried these and they were literally the best caramel we'd ever had. I hope they have them again when we go back!
