Small salad - half romaine, half spinach base with pesto chicken, veggies of choice, fruit of choice, and dressing.

A great place for a quick, refreshing lunch with little to no wait time. The service here is very friendly and my advice is to listen to the workers when they suggest toppings and dressings! If you are unsure about their recommendations, definitely get dressing on the side. The range of options is huge and I love the addition of lots of fruit (mango is an incredible addition to salad). Solid protein options with flavorful chicken, although a little on the dry side. My only qualm with this place is how pricey it is - it is nutritious and delicious, but $15-$20 for mixed veggies, sauce, and protein is somewhat questionable given that some of the salad bases did not look too fresh either.

If you like salads and prison, you'll love this Salata. I'll echo what others have said here before me, I like the idea of a full service salad bar and have visited other Salata's, but this location is AWFUL. I've been about a half-dozen times in the last couple of months and the service, food and experience has been in steady decline. The one thing that has been consistent is the inconsistent staff. I get it; good folks are hard to come by right now, but NO ONE is going to want to work in this environment. I don't know if it's the owner or manager, but the "Warden" is always there, not friendly, and always has a computer and documents at a table in the dining area. This is odd. Adding to the joy of being an employee or patron is the fact the air conditioning was broke today and all the veggie trays were sweating like it was a parole hearing. When your staff looks miserable, it's 85 degrees in your dining area and your serving food in metal bowls, this feels a lot like a meal in a correctional facility. When you add in the fact that the prices have gone up and now the portion size has gone down, I'm out. I ordered a small bowl today and it was $14 w/tax and tip. Look at this salad. I feel like I've been violated. So long, Salata! I've done my time.

Ok...so I'm not really a salad guy so this will be a bit biased. Not sure if it was because it was dinner time but the place was deserted. I heard that it gets busy during lunchtime. Meats were dry and service could have been better. Not a place I would personally repeat. Service - 3/5 Food - 2.5/5 Ambience - 3/5

Salata is KALE-ing me softly with their awesome salads! Came by on a weekday afternoon. Parking is plentiful even though it's shared by multiple businesses. I was greeted upon entering. I informed the staff member behind the counter that it was my first time. He gave me a quick rundown on how the ordering process works: choose your bowl size, base, toppings, protein, and additions as you go down the long counter. I ordered a small salad $7 with grilled chicken +$3. I loaded it up with a kale and spinach base mix, plenty of vegetables and toppings, and a fresh herb vinaigrette. They offer over 50 toppings, 10 house-made dressings, and 12 meat and meatless proteins. The ingredients looked and tasted fresh. The fresh herb vinaigrette was refreshing. Overall, I thought the salad was delicious! The small was plenty for me, and enough to satisfy my hunger. They have a tea tap, which is pretty cool but I didn't indulge. The space is clean, bright, and open. Plenty of seating indoor and out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The manager checked on me and other diners. Will definitely return!

I've seen these restaurants around but didn't know anything about them. This one just opened by me in the same center as Chili's and IHoP. My wife and I checked it out tonight. It's another one of those places where you pick your base and then add your toppings as you move on down the line. The first girl that greeted us didn't really explain how it worked but we caught on fast. I was impressed when I got to the protein section. There is some great looking choices. When I started building my salad, I had no idea where I was going with it but it quickly turned into a Southwestern style. My protein was shrimp and my dressing was Chipotle Ranch. With all of the items, I had a really good, high quality salad. This place is kind of hard to see but with the fitness center right by it, I think it will do well. I'll surely be back.

Really great salad place....they have tons of options for you to choose from as you move through the bar. Very creative and you can come up with lots of different combinations. I'm not a salad guy, but when I'm trying to eat healthy this is the place for me. I love the variety. The chipotle chicken on top?? Yes please. The atmosphere is upscale and contemporary. They also have a tea bar where you can get some of the wonderful teas they brew fresh each day. Give this place a try!!

YESSS; the BEST salad bar EVERR and it did not disappoint. My wife and I first discovered Salata when living in Chicago and always hoped it would make its way down here... Well, it finally has as there are several locations around metro Atlanta (Alpharetta, Atlantic Station, Marietta, and more) and it certainly EXCEEDED my expectations (see pictures of the inside below)! Upon entering, we were greeted by wonderful hosts who were behind the salad stations and as my wife and I moved down the line in selecting our protein, the employees were gracious to allow us sample the different flavors of chicken and anything extra. To note, this salad bar is one that is not "self-serve" (meaning where you use tongs and select how much or little you want of greens/vegetables) as there are folks behind the bar to help make and assist whatever salad you desire. Essentially, they're making it for you per your selection. SERVICE = EXCELLENT (everyone was real cheerful, helpful, and excited to see us. We even met with the Assistant Manager, Anthony who was a great guy and told him we'll definitely be back and love that Salata in Johns Creek opened up)! If you can't tell already, the salad was amazing (see picture below). The best part of Salata and how it differentiates itself from Saladworks, Chopt, and more is their selection and variety. They have all the greens you can imagine (Salata/Spring Mix, Spinach, Kale, and you can mix and match however many you want --- you can get it all if you really desired with NO additional cost). After selecting your greens, (no joke) you have the opportunity to select 20+ toppings to put in your salad; INCREDIBLE. Once you have your greens and toppings, you can select your protein if you'd like (+$3) as I saw 4 different chicken options with various seasonings (I prefer spicy chipotle), shrimp, and more... To top it off, you can select sesame sticks, croutons, or both. And they have 9+ salad dressings to choose from (prefer spicy chipotle ranch). In regards to pricing, it's simple as a regular salad bowl (what I had, can you believe that's a regular!?!?) is $8 and it tapers off as you go down in size. I believe $6 for a small and perhaps less if you want a real small salad. But for the money and the unlimited options, I would go for the regular salad. To further justify why getting a regular salad is worth it --- it's a large portion where you can take at least 2 meals out of it! And it's uber healthy, what's not to love... FOOD = EXCELLENT (the greens, vegetables, toppings, all was delicious and mainly tasted FRESH. It didn't taste like it was out the whole day, the dressing wasn't clunky as it had good consistency, and the chicken was delicious and not under/over done). The regular salad portion is a lot, but I like it (as noted above) and even brought it home as a to-go for my meal tomorrow. Keep in mind, this is a salad bar with gyms around the perimeter so this should stay busy, great meal after a workout, so that said...no dress code needed. Though, inside is done really nice --- a green, organic feel with flowers on the table/booth (gives it a nice appeal), and the grey flooring gives it a modern look. AMBIENCE = CASUAL (nothing fancy, but very clean and modern). I'm already itching to come back as I can't get enough and LOVE Salata; hands down best salad bar. You will not be disappointed. Also, if you'd prefer a wrap vs a salad, they can make that as well per your choosings so something to consider. They also have soup, so a little bit of healthiness for everyone...

Where have you been my whole life? My family and I stumbled on Salata earlier today looking for something fresh and filling. I never realized how few your options are until we couldn't find anything good. Walking into Salata you see a whole array of fresh veggies and fruits you can throw in your salad. This rivals an Upbeet but way cheaper. You can get a large salad for 8$ (not including proteins which you pay extra for) and you add as many toppings as you want. When I say I left with a salad I could serve to a family, I'm not joking. I spent 11$ including my pit- roasted turkey and was so full and satisfied. I literally threw in all the veggies and toppings they had. The super nice sever let us try heir soup, too and man oh man was it good. Next time I'm definitely getting a bowl of soup to go with my salad. Best of all, they have teas and lemonades on tap which is so cool. I got the prickly pear lemonade and am still sipping on it. So good. Please try. Don't miss out.

It served me well to sit at the high top seating as I find that more comfortable for me and it is very, very quiet here. The person making that salad greeted me as I approach. I guess he was waiting to see if I was going to use the kiosk as several others did while i waited for food to be prepared. I was the only one dining in, everyone else took there's to go and a few Uber Eats or Door dash showed up. I ordered The balsamic shrimp salad, it has lettuce mix, grilled shrimp, pickled radish, edamame, purple cabbage, seasoned corn, sesame seed, croutons, and balsamic vinegar dressing. I asked to add avocado and MJ us the seasoned corn. This salad was a perfect balance for me. Not too filling. Balsamic vinaigrette dressing is not one of my favorites so I sprinkled it on not too heavy. I also had the ITOEN unsweetened Bold Green Tea. It had a bold flavor, hence the name. I will be here until Saturday so I'll come back two more days. On my way out, I stopped by the laboratory to find it was near and tidy as well. Not bad at all. We got the small "Quick Chick" versions of the chicken salads: * Classic Carol ($6.99) - Chicken Salad Chick's signature chicken salad; all white meat, shredded chicken, finely minced celery, mayonnaise, and "secret" seasoning * Dixie Chick ($6.99) - "an onion-lover's delight" and "the only one with onions" * Broccoli Salad (large size, $8.99) - broccoli florets tossed in a sweet vinegar-based dressing with shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, topped with crispy bacon All of these salads were grab-and-go. They were fresh and tasty enough. I love onions and thought I would like the Dixie Chick better than the Classic Carol, but it's the other way around. The Classic Carol was solid and I can see why it's the company's signature chicken salad. It's well balanced and satisfying with an appetizing texture. The Dixie Chick was fine, but a bit too intense for me; not in an oniony way, but in an oily way. My wife, surprisingly, liked the Dixie Chick more than me. Note: The Dixie Chick is pungent so you might not want to open it at work. The Broccoli Salad was light, refreshing, and pretty solid. However, there was one problem: it was missing bacon! My wife went for lunch yesterday with her coworker. She said the store was busy and the staff was very friendly. They dined in. She had a sandwich, pickle, and a side of broccoli salad *with* bacon. She said everything was good. She bought the grab-and-go salads to bring home. Most of the crackers that were placed in the bag were crushed/broken. A couple of the packs weren't sealed correctly and were open. Not good. At the time of writing this review, Chicken Salad Chick has over 310 locations in the US. The state with the most locations is Georgia (over 40 locations). The chain was founded in 2008 in Auburn, Alabama.
