I don't ever send complaints about stores and service. However, I need to do this one. #1 - I spent $32+ on 2 salads and 2 bottled drinks (b/c of #2). Absolutely ridiculous. #2 - All fountain sodas except Coke were out of order. Why even have fountain offerings? Joke! #3 - The salad prepper was using wilted rotten lettuce and didn't seem to like her job. She was questioned about the many bad pieces and threw down the spoon with a total attitude and went to the back to get more. Who knows what she did in the back? Maybe it's time for her to move on. #4 - I asked to have some croutons thrown in and was told it would be extra. LOL literally bread crumbs are extra $$. #5 - My roll was fine. Second roll literally cracked it was so stale. Ridiculous. #6 - After spending $32+ with crappy service, we are prompted to give a tip. I travel and give gratuities everywhere. MI used to eat here a couple times a week, but things change. Today was the first time i have eaten at this location in several months. It also may be the last time for several more months. There are too many other options to put up with disappointing food. I ordered a simple wrap. There was ony one person there that could make a wrap. It took her several tries, ruining one or two shells in the process. The sandwich looked pretty bad by the time she finally finished. To make matters worse, the taste was off. This location is a franchised outpost of the regional Saladworks chain, started in Philly and still based right here in Conshohocken. As is the norm, service was quick and quality is high. It must be really difficult to keep so many fresh ingredients looking and tasting good, but Saladworks seems to pull it off with ease. Tonight, I got a pick your own where you choose any five ingredients from their display case and they will toss it together for you. They will also toss your dressing into the salad if you would like, but I always get my dressing on the side as they tend to be a little heavy handed with the dressing. My one complaint about Saladworks is that they are often out of the complimentary rolls that come with any salad - and not just at this location so it seems to be a system-wide problem. If I could give this Saladworks zero stars, believe me, I would. I had recently placed an order with a co-worker of mine and everything about the order was made incorrectly. In all honesty, I could've gotten a better meal at Wawa for half the price. I reached out to cooperate and the owner (because this has happened multiple times) about how poorly we were treated by the employees we had dealt with and the owner said that he would comp my next dinner and I would receive a full refund. From what I heard, a lot of their salads aren't exactly good for you. If you can, drive down to Nick's Pizza in Clayton, go there instead. First, the guy making the salad acts like it is an inconvenience to make it, while other staff members are having conversations with other guests (who are clearly their friends) rather than helping. Second, I had to ask for a roll. Third and finally, my soup was cold. Not warm, cold. Never heated. I had to ask to have it warmed up and even then it was warm at best. I come here almost every day to get lunch for my office. Everyone who works there is super nice and pleasant to work with. They almost always get my orders right. Maybe once or twice I had to go back to have them change something, but 9.5 out of 10 times my order will be correct! Heads up, Yelp--Saladworks is not strictly vegetarian. They have several creative salad combinations, many which include meat. You can make any salad into a wrap, which is super convenient if you need to eat on the road. They also make paninis when you want something warm. They tend to mess up orders - not just the first time, but even on remaking them, despite the fact that their offerings seem to be pretty formula-based. When I've had stuff delivered, they're notorious for being late. And when I placed an online order on Easter, despite the fact that their Google listing indicated they were open, the order never came; I called after waiting for the order for over 90 minutes and there was no answer - not even a freaking voicemail!
