But I find that the meat, particularly the brisket, is full of fat. It would be better if they would evaluate the cuts of meat they are using to ensure they are not giving 50% of the slices as just fat strand pieces. About half of the slices in my soup were purely fat. I am not talking about normal brisket fat; the problem is with the fat content in each slice. I should have more brisket to chew than fat. Pieces that are pure fat are not good. And I could argue that it is brisket when the meat part is not there at all. Spring rolls were OK - but there are better ones out there at other Pho restaurants. Portion size: the soup portion and its components are enough for a sitting. Portion size on meat leaves something to be desired though. I recommend having a bit more meat in the portion. Freshness: After having been to many Pho restaurants, I will have to say food freshness seems to be OK, but not outstanding. I will reserve further comment because I have not been here consistently to give a valid opinion. Value: See also- portion size. Value reflects overpriced selections. Comparisons to other Pho restaurants has Pho Grace slightly overpriced. I won't return frequently solely due to value. Staff were fine - no complaints at all. Restaurant is clean with a nice atmosphere, particularly for lunch. Overall: Pho Grace has been good / great over the years. Value deducted 1 star. Fatty meat deducted 1 star. OK soup deducted 1 star. It was good, but not great. For future visits with better experiences, I will update the review, and should be able to add more stars. Pho Grace is a good restaurant and Hammond is better with them. I do recommend trying it.

Here's what we ordered and thought he about it: Appetizer - French toast - toddler loved it but not size not worth the price - Meat pies- 4 tiny meat pies, flavor ok but not worth the price -duck quesadilla - I knew it was questionable with paired with jack cheese but I wanted to give it a try. It was a soggy greasy mess. But th sauce was good. Entrees - Chicken and waffles - decent flavor nothing fancy just decent - Kids Seafood crepe - the sauce was great, try crepes were a bit different but good the only thing missing was THE SEAFOOD. Yep, probably had two shrimp the whole crepe and they were cut in half. - Kida chicken tenders - waaaay too hard for kids to eat. The chicken tasted like charred burnt chicken. Like the third maybe 2nd batch of chicken in hot grease that cooks too fast on the outside so it is much darker, harder, and burned than the first batch. I asked for something else because after trying a piece of thr crust, I knew the kids couldn't eat that. The chef refused to take it back or replace INSTEAD he gave extra...like seriously if I feel they couldn't eat the first WHY I WOULD I WANT MORE. Overall, likely not to return. I saw two other tables call server over with issue. One of the deconstructed seafood pivot. Expensive and a waste of money. It was 3 towers of French bread with shrimp in a cream sauce. I saw the waitress tell the guy that it was filled with shrimp in the middle. Well, he opened his up and it was nothing but dry bread. He was visibly pissed. I'm glad I didn't order the full entree seafood crepes but I would have been upset with the amount of seafood which was shrimp only in it.

I got the junkin something which was super tasty meat with a little kick and then we also got the turkey one which was awesome! Taking a lunch break from a conference, I found this on Yelp and we decided to try the place out. Ambiance - 3.5 Stars The old home which was converted into the sandwhich shop has very limited seating; only bar stools and can be elbow to elbow on space. There maybe about 12 bar stools so it might be best to call in or order at the counter as take out. Service - 4 Stars The staff were friendly and pleasant. The main cook checked on us regularly after we made a "New Orleans connection". Food: 3.5 - 3.75 Stars If you are getting a PoBoy meal it comes with a 6" or 10" sandwich and a bag of chips. Drinks and other items or extra. We ordered the following: The Junkin: a traditional Debris slow cooked roast. 3.5 4 stars The PoBoy had the usual condiments of lettuce, tomato and pickles w a light spread of mayo. The buttered bread was light and outside layered were crunchy. Just as it should be. The rendered pot roasted was flavorful and slightly juicy. I prefer my Debris to be more wet. 2. Large Cup of Red Beans and Rice - 3.5 Stars The beans were tendered but prefer to have the beans whole I stead of purée. The sausage and beef were good and the seasoning was good. Prefer it to be a bit more spicer. We recommend the place if you need a quick meal in Natchez near the waterfront.
