05/13/26 There wasn't a long line, but the wait time was awful, and there was a hair in my salad. Recommend salad and go, but not this location.

Based on the response, this chain has positioned itself as the low budget, low quality food item chain. No matter how many times you tell me how high Quality your stuff is,, the prices indicates another story. If that's who you want as your clients, then enjoy the ride. Also, stop building stores, everybody gets sick from your unwashed salad, including me several months ago. Same quality stuff at QT. They have breakfast burritos at the decent level at this chain. Lots of chopped bacon, but a good majority of the bacon is small fatty balls. Not much other flavor going on, but if you need to eat something cheap, then these are your burritos. They seem to worry too much about being price friendly than making the best burrito they can for a few bucks more.

Omg!!! Salad and go where have you been all my life?!? I love the small, but varietals on the menu and the fact that you can customize the salads you order with additional toppings and proteins. I went with the caprese salad with added green onions. Sooo delicious, light, and refreshing, also fast as well! Also, you cannot beat the price of salads being about $5.50 anr the drinks being $1 each! Wow!! The drive through is super easy to get in and out of and the service is great too. I may need to grab another salad before I leave! Thank you Salad and Go!

The people at Salad And Go have been promising expanding their number of locations for the last couple of years and they haven't disappointed. So glad to see they're growing and giving Customers the opportunity to visit wherever they may be located, including this most recent restaurant in Tempe. Love their menu and philosophy. I'm happy with every visit!

This salad and go had the worst person taking orders. She couldn't wait for us to think about what we wanted to order the lady kept saying "HELLO" HELLO" all angry. I find this so childish and rude.even after we told her to give us a moment.

I love going here. Come here about 3x a week. Their food is always good and employees are great. But the people in line are the worst. I've never have interactions on the road but something always happens in the drive thru line here. I would think it would be the opposite but I guess liberals are just confrontational for no reason.

Traditional burrito and packet of salsa

So i have seen these restaurants pop up all over the valley and thought there must be something here. I was treated to one of their salads a couple of weeks ago and it was filling for a salad but was not labeled and i had to guess by their online menu what I had. turns out it was a "caprese salad" with balsamic dressing and pesto. The dressing is very strong with vinegar but balanced well with the pesto. overall it was decent. My three star rating comes for their breakfast. $2.99 for a breakfast burrito and you had my attention. Multiple options on the menu and i had to give it a try. Service at the location was quick, maybe a little too quick as it takes time to make a breakfast burrito. As i received my food and later inspected I found what i suspected. These burritos are assembled from precooked and refrigerated ingredients assembled into a tortilla and microwaved before being served. This was obvious because half of the burrito was warm and the other half was cold. I ordered two burritos to give it a real try, a traditional and a southwest. My first impression of the traditional wasn't a good one considering the inconsistent heating and the flavors seemed a little off. There is a heavy amount of rosemary on the potatoes that seems to over power the rest of the burrito at times and the bacon was chopped really fine almost minced. Not a bad burrito but not what i was expecting from the description on their website. Also noted in both burritos is what seemed to be a lack of cheese. I don't recall at any time tasting or seeing cheese in either burrito. As for the fiesta burrito the pablano chilies were ok but the sausage has a strong flavor that seemed more like chorizo and again as described before i don't recall tasting or seeing any cheese in the burrito. On a side note the salsa that comes with the burrito comes in a packet (see pic). Interesting for a salsa that is "Housemade". it definitely has a fresh flavor with cilantro and tomatoes but i dont think each location has a packaging machine for their salsa. Would I have breakfast here again, most likely not/maybe. Although quite affordable and a good selection of burritos with speedy service I was not satisfied with the food overall.

Only taking 1 name at a time. Ridiculous
    Jennifer C.

There was 7 other people here upon my arrival. They are only taking one name at a time. Every time I come here lately, there is a huge wait even if you've done your online order. Why offer a pick up time of 11:35 if I still have to wait over 15 minutes in the heat to get my food? I've tried giving this location multiple chances and it fails time after time again. Literally any other location is better than this one.

If you enter from the street side you'd never know you're in a hotel restaurant. It's got an upscale, classy vibe not usually seen in hotel dining. The waiter and bartender were attentive and knowledgeable. The menu wasn't huge but it was a great variety of options. Table had some salads, flatbreads, burgers and a round of butter cake desserts. Each was really, really good. Way more sophisticated plates than expected. Also had a bunch of craft cocktails, unique and well made. Sometimes the best experiences are unplanned. But you SHOULD plan to give this place a try.

I got the bang bang shrimp and it was good (6/10). The problem that I have is the pistachio gin fizz was an absolute no! I am a HUGE fan of pistachio and gin so immediately I had to get his drink but it was beyond mediocre. Are we drinking only syrup??? My last complaint is the coconut tres leches dessert.... Do we actually know how to make tres leches or we just naming desserts however we want? Just curious. It came out super hot, steaming more like a molten cake. As a Hispanic woman, I was expecting a creamy moist cake to celebrate my graduation but this was not it as well. Last but not least if the bald manager with the orange shirt wants to eat in the back of the kitchen, not the problem I get it (I work at restaurants) HOWEVER shoving your two index fingers into your mouth to get your debris out was my last straw. Like I said I like this restaurant and never had problems but today felt like a fever dream there.

While the ambience is fairly simple, the overall experience is a positive one, especially once the food arrives. I ordered the lox and bagel and was impressed by how substantial the portion was. The lox was generously layered, with a large amount of arugula on top. The arugula appeared to be lightly dressed with olive oil, which added great flavor. While it did not fully align with my personal dietary preferences, it was well executed, and I would be happy to return to see if it can be adjusted. The dirty chai was another highlight in terms of flavor. It was well spiced and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Although it was described as very hot when delivered, it arrived closer to lukewarm, but the taste itself was enjoyable. Service was efficient and attentive. The check was dropped off relatively early, which initially felt a bit quick, but our server continued to check in on us throughout the meal, creating a balanced and courteous experience. The fresh squeezed orange juice was excellent, and everything we ordered was well prepared. Parking in the area can be challenging, though the nearby parking structure behind Pedalhaus makes it more manageable. To be fair, it was busy, but there also seemed to be plenty of wait staff, so I'm not exactly sure where the disconnect was. Food-wise: the spinach artichoke dip was definitely the table favorite. My caprese panini was ok, it was sadly lacking pesto which feels a little criminal for a caprese situation. Our friends loved the fancy French toast & I was absolutely there for the prickly pear mimosas The entire brunch honestly felt like it was one dropped plate away from becoming a sitcom episode. One poor new waiter dropped a plate on the floor, then later knocked glasses off the rack above the bar & shattered a couple right next to guests sitting there. They serve salads, bowls, sandwiches, all-day breakfast, protein shakes, fresh juices, and other healthy, fast-casual eats for dine-in or take-away. My kind of place! This is one of those spots that I'd frequent if I lived nearby (ChopShop, want to open in Northern California?!). I stumbled upon this spot after a little self-guided tour of ASU campus on a sleepy Sunday morning (everyone must have been asleep after the big football game the day before). I'd forgotten about this spot and it was such a happy surprise to find it again and to see that they survived the pandemic and are still thriving. First visit I ordered: -Cheat Day Wrap: scrambled egg, bacon, white cheddar, smashed avocado, tomato, brown rice (I ordered without rice), and turkey or ham (I skipped these too) *DELISH on a whole wheat wrap!!! Full of flavor and super easy to eat. This hearty breakfast sando fueled my active morning of hiking "A" Mountain (Hayden Butte Preserve) the running around the the IronMan course to spectate (30,000+ steps as a spectator!). We couldn't leave town without another trip. I took my guy and we enjoyed a salad, another breakfast wrap, and: -Chicken + Prosciutto Sandwich: grilled chicken, prosciutto, fontina, arugula, fig mostarda, dijon (no dijon for us), on a house bun. But my first experience was not that great. They had plenty of places to sit, whether you like to sit indoors or outdoors. I decided to try the "Glow Up Shake," which is their protein shake. The shake was okay; it didn't blow me away. Considering that it has banana, pineapple, dates, etc., I was hoping it would melt in my mouth with a galaxy of flavor--darn, no such luck. But like I said, it was an okay drink that I think others might like. Now, as for the $3 pre-wrapped Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie? The first cookie they brought me was hard as a diamond. I asked if they could heat it up to soften it a bit like they do at Starbucks, but he said they can't? Wow, I didn't realize that heating a Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie was so complex that it can't be done by some places. Anyway, the minor good news was he brought me a different cookie that was soft enough to bend and break off a piece and chew without worrying about breaking a tooth. But the big question is, will I be back? Of course I will; the place has a plethora of healthy food which I like. And I'm sure when I order something other than a diamond-hard Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie, my experience will be somewhat better. This place does have a fantastic Wi-Fi. That's a plus.
