They say 3rd times a charm and it must be true! I have a 1 year old and had been on the hunt for a true barbershop that would take my little guy. Several places I went to around Whittier wouldn't provide service for him due to his age. Prior to finding Sal he had 2 haircuts. One left him looking like Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber the other cut was just meh... By luck I came across Sal's and spoke to him. He said he could see my boy later in the day. When we arrived he took the time to make my baby feel comfortable and gave him a tour of his shop and introduced him to Lupita the snake. He sat Leo in the barber chair with a booster and proceeded to cut his hair. My little guy didn't even cry. Well at least not until the end but for a 1 year old he did great. Sal gave Leo an amazing haircut and was so patient and professional. When I tipped him he told me I was giving him too much we finally agreed on an acceptable tip and me and my little guy left as happy campers. I'm so happy to have found Sal and am looking forward to bringing my little guy here as he grows through the years. read more

Needed a hair cut and saw that they offered service by appt only. Used the online appt service and was able to get one the next business day. Was in and out as promised and all safety protocols seemed to be followed. Very happy with the service and my haircut. Great decor for the sports fans and prices are very fair as well. My brother has layers and we haven't been able to find a place that could cut my brothers hair correctly. We've been to barber shops & many salons. So, we were iffy about trying out another barber shop, but at that point we were willing to try any place to get a good haircut for my brother. Anyways, long story short, Ruben is amazing at cutting layered hair!! He gave my brother the style he wanted and didn't cut to short nor leave it too long. We will be coming back, thanks Ruben. I would give 5 stars, but the barber shop wasn't as clean as I would have of liked, but that's just my opinion. For a good layered haircut, I will definitely come back. Found this little gem because my usual spot was closed due to covid, and to be honest I'm glad. Sals barbershop is clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Good vibes all around. At 20$ for a 30 min haircut, it is a bit more than I am comfortable paying, but the quality and service helps soften the blow to the wallet. Will continue visiting, definitively recommend. read more

Great shop, Great barber, and Great Environment cant get better than that. Been here for almost 3 years now and have no complains with anything, Sal is my barber and has always exceeded when it comes down to cutting my hair and provided customer service, best part is he takes appointments. With that said ive always gone in on appointments and never waited more or less then the time scheduled.
