Myself and three others entered Sakura on a Saturday just after 12:00pm. There was a woman behind a counter near the wide open door who told us they weren't open yet and instructed us to sit in a waiting area. We sat for about 10 minutes in the dark before they turned the lights on. There was bad Korean music playing and it smelled of sour bar drinks/fruit from the night before. While we waited, we saw several employees setting up the dining room, walking past us, and no one else acknowledged us. Around 12:45, my friend went to ask if we had to wait much longer, but didn't see anyone in the front, so he headed back towards the dining room. The entire staff was seated around a table eating lunch.
At that point we decided to leave, and checked the hours on the way out. On Saturdays, they are supposed to open at 12:00pm. We were really offended that we had been made to wait 45 minutes without any explanation of when we would be served! read more
