We chose the latter due to the fact that I'd never heard of this UK chain of Japanese restaurants. I also found the menu to be unique with the dietary-friendly halal, vegetarian, and GF offerings. Not many Japanese restaurants have that. We were welcomed in with the sound of a taiko drum. They tap the drum when entering and before being seated. I found it odd at first, but now I understand after reading about this traditional welcome. The restaurant was filling up fast. We thankfully were seated in a 2 seater booth by the window. It was completely full by the time we left. All the ramen choices looked fantastic. I've never seen such a huge variety of unique flavors. I was drawn to the Shio Yuzu and Shio Truffle. It was a tough decision, but the truffle won that battle. It ended up being a great choice. The truffle really brings out the flavor of the rice in the noodles. Although, these noodles were already pretty special. I think they make them here. There was a good amount of chicken, and that ramen egg was absolutely delicious. A perfectly made custardy yolk. I should have ordered an additional one. My husband's Spicy Chicken Teriyaki with rice was good, but not great. His words, not mine. I didn't try it because I'm not a fan of teriyaki sauce. The chicken gyoza were also pretty good. I was also super happy with the Yuzu Ice Tea from the Mocktail menu. It was very mojito-esque without the rum. A refreshing drink. The service was good. The atmosphere is very lively. I didn't really get a chance to take pictures inside. The décor is lovely, but more enjoyable when it's less crowded. I'd revisit it again if ever in this region. I may have to try their Black Garlic Tonkotsu ramen next time.

We weren't sure what to order so to play safe, we ordered the Set Meal for 2B which consists of : 2 Miso Soup 2 Chicken skewers 6 Japanese dumplings 4 pieces of California roll 6 pieces of Chef's choice nigiri 4 pieces of Salmon sashimi Teriyaki chicken rice There was one roll that stood out the most - Chef's Special Roll !!!! I have never tasted this anywhere, I loved this roll out of the entire meal. The crunchy thin layer on the top reminded me of sweet cracker-like, but I didn't get a chance to ask them what it was. King Prawn Tempura Roll was an extra roll that we ordered. Just crunchy. We didn't finish it so we brought a good sum of it home. "He" seem to love the teriyaki chicken rice and the chicken skewers once we got home. You can take the 44 bus here. They get an extra star for the service. And thanks for extra ginger.

Edinburgh and 2. A delivery place! I've now ordered twice form here and recieved really good quality meals each time, that were packed carefully (with a fair bit of thought) and arrived quickly. I ordered via a centralised ordering website that has a phone app, not directly, but have spoken to the staff on the phone (they wanted to double check a delivery time) and would say that online ordering ordering is probably the way to go. So, the food. I've ordered a range of sushi - mango maki, tuna maki and salmon maki which arrived in individual boxes each with wasabi and ginger and were really good fresh quality. My chilli tuna salad was a bit hotter than I'd thought it would be but was delicious! Previously I ordered the seabass special, which came with rice and some pretty/tasty garnishes. What really sells me on this place is the miso. You know good miso? Yeah, it's amazing. And this place does good miso that is filled with plenty of nice bits! My go to for when I want sushi, but have no intention of putting on pants.
