Pretty solid spot, nothing that makes it really stand out. I will say the sushi was certainly the best part of this entire meal, I had a few other varieties that were super fresh. The chicken and broccoli sauce was a little off to me. Not sure why but the flavor just didn't really come together like I've had with others. I know this is a basic meal when it comes to this cuisine but sometimes I'm just looking for that comfort meal. I provably would not order chicken and broccoli from here again. Found this place close to the hotel we stayed at when bringing my daughter to visit Shenandoah University. Food was quite good, though it did take a couple tries to convince the kitchen to make my wife's vegetarian dish vegetarian. The sushi rolls were delish we ordered, the salad is huge and good (love ginger dressing), the veggie spring rolls were very good. Upon entering the store it was a shock to see all the booth area was full for a weekday night so,we had to settle for a high top table. For appetizer I ordered the Vietnamese summer roll & the calamari. The rolls was very good but the peanut sauce that they provided was not authentic. The calamari was pretty good with the tangy sauce was nice. For the entree I had the chicken Pad Thai which was decent but not the best I ever had. Also, on a side note my friend order the pho and at best it was only average so wouldn't recommend. After finishing my meal I develop Abd pain and when I went to work the next day I was feeling so sluggish. Another negative is that the cost of the items are expensive. It was delicious and I loved that the vegetables it came with were good, hearty veggies (zucchini, asparagus, onions, & peppers). Popular place. A variety of choices. I would avoid the tempura the next time. It was a bit too greasy. I would stay away from the sashimi as well. The sashimi bento box came with 3 pieces of salmon and 2 pieces of tuna with the quality of supermarket sushi. Also be aware that hot tea is $2.50 each. The pork steam buns were accompanied by a Red Wine vinegar and ginger sauce that tasted like vinegar and not much else. Convenient and tasty! This place is more like a Chinese-Japanese fusion as many of the dishes have a more Chinese flavor, but still very tasty. We had the bento boxes which were very generous in portion as well as delicious. They came with a California roll and gyoza as well as a big serving of fried rice. read more

I recommend trying this restaurant. Clean, spacious, with comfortable seating, and pleasant and courteous service. Sushi was good, this I think is more their specialty. There is really not what I consider an upscale or high end sushi bar in this area. If you want that experience you need to drive to Frederick Maryland or into DC. Locally however this is the newest and one of the better places to eat Asian cuisine. I can't see anyone being disappointed if they have the same experience we did. read more
