This is a really nice outlet store, bright, clean and organized. There's huge collection of apparel for men, women, and kids, but they also have shoes, accessories, cosmetics, perfumes, sunglasses, jewelry and luxury goods. Since this is part of Saks, so prices are little bit higher, but a lot of the items have good discounts, some up to 70% off. I found the winter clothing sections and men's suit section really good. Sunglasses also had good variety. The were several staff members in the store helping out customers with checkouts and general requests. It is overall a nice store to shop around. read more

During my visit, I approached the cashier on duty, a black woman who appeared to be in her late 40s to 50s, and asked for assistance in unlocking an item from the designer clothing rack. She told me to go to the security man at the main door and told me to ask him to call someone to the jewelry department, (Although it is her responsibility to assist customers, I was courteous enough to do what she said) As I acknowledged what she explained and responded with "okay," she spoke to me in a demeaning tone, saying, "Did you hear what I said?" I politely replied that I did, but she then demanded, "OK. THEN WHAT DID I SAY, REPEAT WHAT I SAID." I was astonished and deeply offended by this treatment. Her tone and manner were unprofessional, disrespectful, and, in my view, discriminatory. As a customer, I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of my background or appearance. This interaction left me feeling mistreated and humiliated. I immediately raised my concerns with the store manager and provided the time of the incident as well as the details of what transpired. While the manager assured me they would address the matter, I did not feel that the gravity of the situation was adequately acknowledged at the moment. I am extremely disappointed by the unprofessionalism displayed by this cashier. Such behavior not only reflects poorly on the individual employee but also tarnishes the store's reputation for customer service. Racial discrimination and condescending treatment of customers have no place in any establishment. I urge the management to take appropriate action to address this behavior and ensure that all staff are adequately trained in customer service and workplace professionalism. read more

This company is the absolute worst. 1. Refused to cancel my order. Said I had to wait to receive it THEN return it. Thank God there is a store in NYC. I mistakenly ordered men's shoes. 2. The womens pair I received fit perfectly but that's about it. The shoes made a squeaky sound every step I took. Very cheap looking and functioning. 3. I returned them immediately. Not a bad place to shop. We walked into this Saks OFF 5Th store at this outlet mall in New Jersey. They have a ton of stuff to browse through. Our time was limited so I assisted my wife in her search for what she wanted. Unfortunately, they did not have what she seeked. Can say that much of their merchandise was heavily discounted. So I bought a pair of YSL boots and paid couple of hundred.... didn't bother wearing them for a while and just last week I wanted to wear them for a night out. Just to find out one was size 36 the other one was size 38.. went back to the store to get my money back and the manager got nerve to talk about their store policy.... so it's not their store policy to check if they're giving out the same size for both feet??? Part of the Jersey Garden Outlets, I used to really like this Off 5th. I've gotten many a great deal, it was bright, clean and well laid out with a ton if merchandise. It's fall from grace is quite disturbing. I asked one of the 2 people working if the place was getting renovated and she responded no. The store looked like a construction site with no layout plan. The place was a mess, they clearly don't have staff to consistently put away clothing and overall I left feeling dirty. The deals weren't even that great and to be honest the merchandise quality and quantity was severely lacking. Head straight to the Neiman Marcus outlet for a slightly better experience! read more

Located in a corner of Jersey Gardens, they have a number of designer styles all discounted to reflect the move from the main city racks to this outlet mall. The watches at 40% off were a nice touch, will probably go back when I have to get items that aren't necessarily out of style (like watches, sunglasses, ties) but that have designer names. Terrible outlet for Saks. None of their clearance sticker were accurate after waiting in a large line to get to the register for someone to accuse of switching a clearance sticker on a t shirt. I don't really find anything interesting when shopping at this location. However, I do stop by once in a while to see what they have on hand. The prices are reduced compared to retail value but the choices are limited. I found some True Religions and Kors for men but the items didn't really pique my interest. I ended up buying something in the end but then instantly had that all-so-famous buyer's remorse. I knew I could have done better but the price was too hard to pass up. Anyways the store is fairly large, the decor is modern and chic, but the music they play is certainly too loud. Louder than any other Saks location I've been to. I just went back the other day to find a suit for my husband. Off Saks must be run by a completely different set of people than the regular Saks flagships stores. Those are a delight to shop at and everyone is soooooo extremely helpful. At this off saks the people employed here are so downright nasty it shocks me they are employed!!!! There were people behind counters that were not open just sitting there doing nothing and when I approached them, before I was able to open my mouth to ask them where the size 42 suits were she snarled at me " this register is closed". I ended up finding a suit only to have to wait on a line that took 30 minutes to get to an open register a line over 15 people with two registers open and other employees just sitting around not bothering to open more registers. HELLOO this IS the Holiday season. At 7pm with 15 people on line shouldn't all the registers be open? read more

The only reason to shop here is for shoes. The selection isn't vast but the value makes up for it. If you come during the right week, you'll find deals were they're practically giving away shoes. Like suede Cole Haan wing tips for $60. The big hitters here are Magnanni, To Boot, and Cole Haan. On my last visit the Magnanni's were a little sparse in sizes. I did find a lot of To Boot's but not in the style that I was looking for. Such is the life of the bargain shopper. You have to stay vigilant because a deal can strike any minute. I happened to be prom dress shopping and stumbled into saks fifth ave off 5th. I wasn't really impressed. For an outlet store their prices really weren't discounted. I looked on the sale rack and came across a cute tee-shirt. It was suppose to be 70% off. It was $128.00. Believe me it was nothing special sweatshirt material. The store itself sold many different items. Again, for what they were charging u could find it anywhere.... This saks fifth ave off 5th didn't have a large inventory. My friend was looking for a spring lightweight jacket. She found a few. They were $150 and up. If u are a saks shopper then this would be a good place to come. If not, be in for sticker shock....The other issue I had was for a saks store whether it be outlet or not, I think it should be in better shape. Organization and cleanliness is a must! This store was lacking. I didn't see any sales people around to help if u have a question. I don't think I would return to this store.it needs an overhaul! read more

I've been here 3x over 5 years, last being 01/09/2016, and it's consistent reliable quality. Its inventory is very varied with a heavy emphasis on female items & relatively small men's section, reflective of the larger retail fashion world, but it's great prices always. Item qualities are good, conspiracy theories about lower quality goods may be true but the items are still sufficient given their price. The changing inventory makes for a treasure hunt like feeling which is part of their plan, I'm sure. Signage is plentiful & clean. The lighting is overwhelmingly bright with the perky music surely tuned by Muzak to alter consumer brains into buying. It works. Don't spend too long in here. Bathrooms are in the main mall but just a 1 min walk away. Overall, good, reliable, inexpensive. read more

Being a executive, Dressing sharp is very much needed and this place has all I need. I got few jackets and a nice dress for wifey for her Birthday. HORRIBLE. Horrible customer service. Online service SUCKS! They'll never get a dollar from me. Ordered some boots and they sent something totally different. Returned them in store and had to re order them. I reordered them and they sent the wrong size in a totally wrong distorted box. They refused to refund me after telling me to sign up for a restock list that never ever restocked. I love discounts but I would literally never give these ppl another dollar. I called to see what could be done and they kept passing me off between the stores and the online customer service. I called a number they gave me for corporate and it didn't work. I called the NY store and the first person said they don't have the number and hung up. The next person said they don't have corporate number. Lol I never heard of that blasphemy. Worst customer service ever. I was shopping for jeans and my fiancé peeked around a corner to see what was on those shelves for me. A woman was working folding jeans on a cart right there and looked at him and her only words were "You can go around!" A SAKS EMPLOYEE. My jaw dropped. He wasn't even trying to get through. I returned a $900 suit that didn't fit, which I purchased from their online site. Almost four weeks later, still no credit. I've called twice, but neither phone rep can help me because "it shipped from the store." They keep asking me for the number of the shipping label that they printed and sent, and which I don't have because I put the label on the box! Apparently, when it ships from a store, the service computer system has no clue what is going on. After three phone calls with absolutely no help in sight I'm giving up on Saks and filing a complaint with Chase, the bank behind my Visa card. One of the shoes on the shelf with no price. I asked one of the attendees on the floor for price. She returned after 5 minutes and told me that the shoes are $149.(The shoes appeared as they were used and returned by someone and that was why the shoes were at the outlet.) I was asked to wait at the cash register for the other shoe. Five minutes later she returned and apologized for her mistake and told me that the price is really $229. I agreed to the charge. I was charged $299.99 but I didn't check the receipt that I signed trusting the store. I received my Bank of America statement and I realized on 5/31 that $299.99 was charged to my card. I went back to store and explained the situation three times to multiple people at the register. They offered to give me 10% off ($30. credit) which I didn't accept. The store General Manager arrived and asked for my receipt. I showed him the charges on my card. (I couldn't find the receipt). He refused to correct the situation because I didn't save the receipt. He voided the 10% credit that the cashier offered and we got into argument and I left the store. This is not about $70. discrepancy. This is about misinforming customer, not having price on the product. This is about cheating and dishonesty. The manager is very rude. It may have something to do with the class of people they deal with every day or the neighborhood. DON'T GO TO THAT STORE. The employees are slow rude and not customer friendly. They don't look like they have any pride in their jobs either. They screw their customers. read more
