I've lived in the area for about three years now, but I've only recently started coming to this store more often. Out of all the outlets in the Buckhead Loop shopping center, this one stands out as the best. The customer service here is a big plus--the associates actually go out of their way to greet you and help, which is always appreciated. My only gripe with outlet stores like this is that you really have to time your visits right. The trendy name-brand items don't stick around for long, so if you come too late, you're left with a bunch of generic ready-to-wear stuff that all looks the same--nothing unique or exciting. But, as I mentioned, this store does offer better items than others nearby, so that's a win overall. One of the best things here is the huge selection of accessories--watches, wallets, sunglasses--you'll definitely find something worth checking out. read more

This store needs a good review ... and I'm gonna write it! My husband does really well in outlets, particularly this store. It's not cheap, cheap, cheap (despite 80%-off signs) -- but they stock high end items which cost less than other retail outlets. And the staff? We were helped by two people, both of whom went out of their way for us. Since we were on a mission for T, I didn't look at things for myself. (Well, actually I did. But very superficially.) I plan to go back with a girlfriend to check out the selection of Free People clothes and to scour the racks for Fit Flops (the most comfortable shoes, ever!) We spent a couple of hundred dollars and walked out with a bagful of goodies. read more

GREAT outlet store! Worth making the 1+ commute from the city to shop just here. I always find really neat things and they have brand names galore if you are into that sort of thing. I just left this Saks location and I was very unhappy and disappointed with the customer service. My reason for visiting today was because my girlfriend wanted to shop here and so I ventured off into the men's shoe department. I stumbled upon a sign that said "Buy 2, Get 2," from where I was standing. Unsure of what exactly the promotion entailed, I asked a sales associate. He stated that if I bought two items at regular price, I would get the other two free. With that being said, I went ahead and spent time looking through all the shoes and finally found 4. My girlfriend joined me at the register and when I checked out, the associate at the sales register states the promotion was only for socks. I decide not to buy the shoes and just purchased my girlfriend's shoes. I asked for the customer service number so that I may file a complaint just to suggest that they better inform their workers/sales associates about their promotions instead of misleading their customers and to also change their signage so that it doesn't lead to confusion. I also took a picture of the sign of where I was standing when I had asked the sales associate after I purchased and left the register. Another sales associate RUDELY and unprofessionally follows me and tells me the sign here says its for socks only, so I explain I understood that after but my problem wasn't that I misunderstood the promotion it was that the sales associate wrongly informed me. She rudely sets down clothes in her hands and says, "Who told you that?! Show me who told you that! We need to find him now! What'd he look like- blonde? Dark hair?!" We end up in the middle of the store and couldn't find the gentleman who helped me earlier as they were closing already. Another lady apologized for the confusion and calmly clarified the promotion which I understood at that point and said they would better take care of the signage to avoid later confusion. At the end of it all, I was just really disappointed at the one lady's lack of customer service skills. PREPARE TO NOT BE SERVED AS CUSTOMER "NO SERVICE" IS THE ORDER OF THE DAY! Reading the reviews, you will notice that the biggest criticism related to this store is its customer service. My first experience with this was just getting them the answer the phone while we were en route. I rang at least nine times and eventually just hung up. Well, you can't have great customer service if you don't have appropriate staffing levels and experience. I believe that if you have different departments in your store, every department should be staffed or conveniently covered. For example, the locked jewelry counter sits on the edge of the accessories department so one person could easily cover both areas but there was no one in either. If you are short on staff, you need a roaming sales person who is clearly visible and checking in with customers to see if there are any questions. This person should have general knowledge of all departments and carry the keys to the jewelry counter. Incidentally, the jewelry all appeared to be of the lower end costume variety so I did not bother Also, I am careful and particular when it comes to purchasing jewelry. I like the lay-out of this particular store because as you enter, the leather bags are to your immediate right and the clothing is further into the store. They have a small second level that is dedicated to shoes for men, women and children. It can be accessed by ramp or steps but I found it to be a bit crowded and they need to do a better job of incorporating seating. The good news is that they do have a register up here so that you don't have to go downstairs to complete your purchase. However, the lone employee up here was totally out of his element. He walked around dazed and glazed, (forget eye contact or a greeting) and did not look capable of telling me how to exit the building let alone providing personal assistance. This is what you get when you just grab the first person who applies because you need a body. That works fine for Walmart but this store requires a higher level of retail experience because I actually expect customer service skills and knowledge about the products. Ugghhh! I was hoping to find a hat or some ear warmers and while they had the perfect warmers to match my coat. The designer had cheapened the look by taking his logo and putting it on a cream colored knit material as the headband. So imagine these black faux fur ear warmers with a tacky knit headband with Michael Kors in large letters. Who would purchase these? Now you know why they are still on the shelf! They had this adorable rainbow fur scarf with the clever slit for easy styling. It was the perfect statement piece to add to a jacket or sweater except... it was real fox fur. Noooooo! Yes, you could probably have a nice experience shopping here especially if you found your perfect item of clothing. Just know that you are on your own and if you have questions, ask Google! PS: I actually found my perfect bag at their on line store and it was on sale! Yay! If you can wait eight days for delivery (so '90's), you will be good to go! ***This store can't be missed as it is the first one you will see as you approach the center from 400 heading north. read more

This store really goes out of its way to rip you off . Crappy clothes with fake retail prices and fake mark downs , low quality clothing in stock . I stopped shopping there when I bought a pair of shorts that had a retail price of $125- marked down to $40- but the string broke on them after a few months & crappy cashmere that balls up after one season to the point that you cannot wear it anymore . I should have known that I couldn't get a cashmere lapel styled button down sweater for $ 125- . You must be very careful shopping there . There is a small percent of last season items but very very few and far between . Wake up & be a careful shopper . I don't know why they call it an outlet . It's more like a glorified Walmart only my clothes from Walmart are the same or better quality & don't fall apart after a few months . read more

terrible store, my wife was buying a pair of shoes, it had a sale sticker on both shoe with the sale price. when we went to check out, the associate said this is not the price and tried so hard to rip the ticket off, and said someone else put it on there by mistake, LOL LOL both shoe! !! someone put it there! i would give them less than one star if i could. i work at the outlet mall as well and my grandma came into my *work place* the other day noticeably upset. DYLAN from this saks location gave her the absolute worst customer service and told her that she couldn't return something they sold her that was defective. i'm sorry what? if a product you sell is defective, you damn sure should be able to return it. DYLAN was extremely rude to my poor grandmother even after she has been a customer for years and years and spends well more than this store is worth. he told her to "sew" the defective product instead of returning it for her. DYLAN is not fit for sales coming from another person in sales and should be let go. you can't change my mind. you guys lost a lifelong customer (not me i'd never spend a damn dime here but she was quite fond of y'all until now); hope it was worth crushing a little old lady's spirit, you bully. read more

I will never shop at this place again employees are very snobby and inconsiderate when it comes to helping people unless they know that you are purchasing items. I live in Atlanta; my 4 sisters came to visit; I took them to OFF 5th Saks Fifth Avenue at the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall. One of my sisters saw a skirt she decided she wanted after she returned to AL. She called and asked if they would hold the item. Of course it was explained that items are only held for 2 hours. However, because she was coming from out of town (AL) the sales associate agreed to hold it until 1:00 pm the next day. My husband goes out to get the item and it was gone. Here's the insensitive part! I called the store and asked what happened; of course no one knew. I explained to the salesperson my concerns of the 30+ miles drive to get the item and it's gone and no offer of compensation such as coupon or something. She spoke with her manager and came back to say it's nothing we can do, "These things happen," in a sarcastic demeanor. Never again! read more
