It's right above the harbor in Ballen. We ate inside with a view to the harbor. The lunch menu is traditional Danish. So go with the flow and order open faced sandwiches and beer. I had the "star shot" (stjerneskud"), which is a fried flounder/place fillet on French bread, then covered with tiny Greenland shrimp and caviar on top of the shrimp. Plus a slice of lemon and remoulade sauce. The "star shot" was both beautiful and tasty. One is a full meal. The service was friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent. Note: I had "stjerneskud" at a couple of restaurants the following week. Skipperly's was by far the best. Extra credit: A Copenhagen chef invented and named "stjerneskud" when Soviet Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin ate at her restaurant in 1962. The fish fillet looks vaguely like a rocket -- if you squint your eyes.

They use Ramson leaves which was new to me grounded into an herb dust. The dust makes the butter extra savory. Husband had the steak and says the best ribeye of his life and he is Australian.
