Down along on Abbot Kinney is this amazing store. Perfect place for a treat yourself or gift for someone's birthday. The store is clean and relaxing. The staff were warm and welcoming and helped my friend find the product she was looking for to get a refill. My favorite is the Stress Release oil that they let you trial. They put it on the back of your neck and you can feel it work it's magic as it relaxes you and gives off a nice scent. Love having this on hand for myself but also makes for a great gift for friends and family. Fairly priced for the quality that they are offering! read more

Discovered this beautiful Saje when Michelle Robinson from the Venice Public Library led a Behind the Scenes Walking Tour of Abbot Kinney. Inside, there's a calm, relaxing vibe. We were invited to try many of their items, but the one that totally blew me away was the Stress Release Soothing Oil Blend Roll-On ($36). After testing it on the back of my neck, within seconds I could feel my whole body unwind. Yes, it's pricey, but it works! Loved the variety of essential oils, too. Their cute bundles make a great gift. If you're on a wellness journey, hit up Saje! read more

Came into Saje for the first time recently for a group sound bath breath work class from Well by Martha and I fell in love with the space. One thing I love is the almost indoor/outdoor vibe here. So welcoming and inviting just as the staff are. Since this was a private event the store wasn't open to the public until it was over but I stayed longer with some friends and we shopped around a bit. I had some questions about essential oil recommendations as I've been using them for a while and wanted to try one of their blends and was told to try the Stress Relief Kit. The staff (I forgot his name) was so friendly, knowledgable and accommodating and knew exactly what I needed! I actually feel like the products are priced very fairly considering their quality and bundles you can get. The location is also very convenient on Abbot Kinney! Great place to shop a bit and pop over to one of the restaurants! I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Absolutely love coming to Saje and enjoying all the aromas from their products. Javon was super helpful and assisted me in helping me find what I needed. I picked up a Recovery Kit as a gift for my friend and also a Peppermint Halo roll-on for myself since I just ran out. I usually shop online but nothing beats visiting the actual stores to smell the different essential oils. It's just so relaxing. I love this brand and it's the only essential oil brand I own, but they are definitely on the pricy side (hence the 4/5), so be prepared to spend more! But know that you're investing in high quality pure essential oils. My favorites: Peppermint Halo Roll-On, Liquid Sunshine oil blend & Hand Soap, 100% Eucalyptus, and Peppermint oils. Check them out, you won't be disappointed :) Oh and be sure to call or check their store hours because they vary from store to store and they've adjusted their times due to COVID. read more

Simply put, I adore Saje. I've been a loyal customer for 8 yrs now, and so, when there two locations in NY closed because of Covid, I was devastated. Happy that I can visit this location on my frequent visits to Cali parking in this area was no problem. I visited 3 times. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. My frequent purchases include peppermint halo, lavender honey soap filled wash pad and a variation of diffuser blends and sprays. read more

I first discovered Saje products in Canada back in 2014, so was super happy when they expanded in the US and had a store close by on Abbott Kinney! The products are high quality, but more expensive than some other essential oils (think the ones you get in the grocery store, but I feel the quality lives up to the prices)... and they offer a lifetime guarantee... which they actually honor! One of my diffusers stopped working. After trying to troubleshoot at home with the help of online support, I brought my diffuser into the store. One of the team members also tried to fix it and when she determined it wasn't fixable, she was able to get me a replacement--easy peasy. The team is super friendly and they are truly knowledgeable about the products, uses, etc. They're never pushy, but will share when there are deals especially based on your interests. Always had a great experience in this store! read more

recently started getting into essential oils. Was walking down Abbot Kinney and couldn't help but be drawn into the store by the captivating aromas emitting from this place. 2 gals welcomed us in the front of the store that were super sweet and informative of their products. Now, i've only started learning about Doterra products so I only had them to compare. I was told that even though they are organic, they are not yet certified as they were still fairly new and they are a small production company. Now I don't know how true all of that information is and frankly I don't place too much focus on the product being organic because I didn't intend on getting anything here I would ingest. They have a handful of cute diffusers and their products smell amazing. Their men's selection could use some improvement as there's only like 4 things for our men folks. In the end bought a yoga mat mist, invigorating nasal inhaler and their muscle melt lotion. So far everything smells amazing and feels great. Saje is definitely worth giving a try! read more

I was so happy to see a Canadian based store here! Oh how I've missed you Saje! Ended up purchasing three new diffusers (one of them is for my MIL). The best part is Saje's diffusers come with a lifetime warranty! I also added some new essential oils and the marble holders. I'm so excited to try my new toys! Oh! Did I mention the sales employees were on their game? Extremely knowledgeable! Thank you! I'll be back! read more

I was manifesting a hippie LA Weekend and essential oils was on the list. I popped into Saje and was immediately greeted by warm staff. Saje's streamlined packaging and array of essential oil/natural products makes for some quality self nourishing and great gifts. Their staff are wonderful at explaining the different benefits of their products, as well as providing helpful background about the Canadian company. I like to believe that the staff at a store bear testament about the people behind a business. Through my brief interactions with the staff here and reading up on Saje through their website - I believe that Saje was started with love and genuine intention. I bought some peppermint essential oil - which I'm looking forward to diluting in a spray bottle for on-the-go refreshment. Trust. read more

Do you want to have your mind blown by radiant beauty?? Then you might want to visit Tai and Javon on Abot Kinney, because we did-- for the very first time to Saje. We decided to take a Joy Field Trip because our world is obvs a pool of stress soup right now. And what a fantastic experience we had!! We basically had a very calm and relaxing party!! Javon and Tai were the most exquisite and informative ambassadors to an entirely new olfactory world. We even brought our sweet angel Luna (our pit bull) and they were both so kind to all three of us as well as passionate, knowledgeable, dedicated and just overall wonderful humans. It was hard to leave the store, we had such a great experience with them. And yes we now have the most fantastic diffuser ever!! (amongst eighteen other things we purchased that are equally sumptuous! Well-being is rather necessary as our society is slowly seeing.) My beautiful partner is now a chef in making different daily diffusing blends for us. This element of pleasurable relaxation is invaluable. We are so very grateful to Javon and Tai. Thanks to you both!! We will drive across town to visit you again soon. xxB read more

Give Javon a raise! What a lovely person...so kind and patient as we asked a million questions! I've sold Doterra and Young Living essential oils, but the packaging and the blends are so spa-like and a pleasure to use! This store "sparks joy!" read more

I barely write Yelp reviews but I wanted to tell the world how amazing and helpful Tai (customer associate) was! From the very first moment, she was smiling, friendly and helpful. She answered all my questions patiently and helped me pick the right product. I love the brand but because of the people , I even more like it now! Thanks Tai. You are the best! read more

Beautiful space and although sales are busy talking to other guests, I can tell they are very patient and knowledgable. The whole retail space smells great since they got 12 diffuser going with different secent. They got a sink to in case if you want to test some skin products. I will go back soon, this is a good addition to AK scene! read more

I love saje. I love saje more than sake! Jovan is super attentive and very helpful in presenting options and detailing value. He truly took the time educate us oN the diffusers and the drops. He sets the bar in customer service. Thanks Jovan! read more

The store itself is nice- smells great, of course. But there is NEVER anybody in the store but yet the people working there can't manage to help. It's essential oils, it's not clothes- I need some guidance through this. It makes me want to support these MLM companies because at least the people care enough to educate. But I just can't buy MLM because I don't want to sell for them and there is always an catch. Will continue to buy from Plant Therapy. No thanks, Saje. read more

Very good customer service. I was helped after walking in and given lots of samples of oil to try and suggestions based on what I was looking for. Dad has mild asthma so we tried several with eucalyptus and peppermint in varying quantities. Ended up finding one with a great scent and am very pleased! read more

I went to try the deodorant spray yesterday at the Abbot Kinney shop and sprayed on my armpits to see how it works. I can't remember exactly which scent I tried but it was one of the 3 spray deodorant. It smelt great and I thought it was all natural. When I went home 3 hours later my armpits started to itch really bad. By night time I started having small red lump rashes on my arms, shoulders and armpits. It was so itchy and scary. I went to get some Cortisone cream to put on it and took a shower and it got abit better so I went to sleep, only to wake up at 3am with same rashes around my butt and thighs and feet! It was so itchy and I was horrified. I ended up taking some Benadryl and it finally went away. I never EVER get skin rashes and not really allergic to anything so I'm pretty sure it was caused by this product, especially it happened pretty soon after I used it. I was horrified by it and will never buy this product. I'm sure it works for a lot of people but since I had such horrible experience I wanted to let everyone know. Be ware! Side note: Their website is so shady. I was going to post a product review on their website and it would not go through because it detected words "rash" and "itchy"..... like seriously? It seems like they only allow positive reviews on the website which is so dishonest and fake. read more

I shopped here for the first time a few days ago. The product is outstanding, I purchased a room spray and a frankincense essential oil for myself, and few items as Christmas presents. For spending a certain amount of money I got a new diffuser for $40! The customer service was outstanding and I am so obsessed with the warming room spray I'm returning to buy many more as stocking stuffers! So excited to be living near this magical place! read more

Javon was so helpful and friendly! This man has an awesome attitude. Great looks for this shop.

My friend and I went in because it smelled really good. We were immediately greeted by Ashley who was trying a little too hard for my taste to offer "customer service". I said that I would like to just look around. She said it was more of an "experience" and starts explaining things and offers to put something on our necks. Ok. Cool. It smells good. But since it is an "experience" can we "experience" by ourselves in this small box of a store? We wander off not too far because it is small, and we get to an area with accessories. Since we were told it is an experience we feel ok touching and looking closely at a necklace. We read the box etc Ashley shows up out of nowhere grabs the box from our hands and stars explaining what we clearly read on the box and trying to sell us stuff. For some reason she kept mentioning something about being in business for 26 years etc. I mean I hope she is not the CEO. I did not want to know more about the brand sorry, I wanted to discover and be curious on my own. We just wanted to look and smell and we said that right from the start. Anyways, I hope we were not being profiled and I certainly would have liked an experience where I did not feel like someone is trying to push something and where I can have an "experience" of discovery of my own likings of the product. Ew. Just icky experience. It smells good tho. read more
