My son who always had exemplary behavior, got bullied daily by four children. Despite going to the director,Ms.Kelly Libby nothing was done. My son who was a happy child , started crying daily because nobody did anything about the bullying. I reached out to MsKelly to no avail. This one particular boy put a beeping Apple Watch in my son's ear at recess. I didn't find out till my son Logan told me a month later. I told ms.libby via email. Her response was "Oh it happened a month ago, he's no longer allowed to bring his watch" ok so she basically did nothing because it happened a month ago. This is just one example of what was done to my child. I later received an email from her stating there was no evidence of bullying and that I should contact my son's pediatrician. I guess she was implying counseling. My son had two sessions and the therapist felt there was no need to continue. Prior to me putting Logan in this school , he was a happy child. I noticed that was changing. Each morning he was crying and felt very anxious. After trying with the direction ms.Kelly and his teacher ms.esther I pulled him out. These people were supposed to provide a safe environment which they did not. My advice think twice before u put your child in this school.

I enjoyed the interview process and my family was very excited about the opportunity there! The principal said day one that he was "anal." I didn't really pay any mind to it at first but little by little I saw the controlling/manipulative side of the director. He has a my way or the highway mentality and it just didn't go well with my teaching style! He also came to observe on like my 3rd class!!! I've taught for over 25 years and never had a walk in observation unannounced in my 2nd week of classes!!! That was very tacky on his part. There were discipline problems that weren't addressed and continued to be a real hindrance to my work at this school. I got pretty sick and continued to arrive to teach and only received complaints from the principal, I was really sick! He'd write passive aggressive emails to me and I just realized that this school was not the place for me to teach/coach and bring my family! When I was told to leave the principal eerily left all the lights on at the school and said he'd be watching me on the school cameras as I went back to my classroom to remove my personal belongings!!! Weird experience there, wouldn't recommend the school for kids or for a teaching opportunity!! Not worth it!! Was very disappointed, the community there in Daytona beach is a bit off, people in general are NOT friendly and everyone keeps to themselves, was a very odd time for me!!

The outdoor area had a swing set/ tree house slide, a little tykes house and a picnic table...that was it. I read the hand book and paid $65. for the shirts the children have to ware. After about two weeks my child started acting out at home and became very unruly, but what really concerned me is he didnt want to go back and every morning became a battle. I started to come in at different times and always observed all the kids running around wild and there was no real affection shown to the kids.. What really upset me is on more than one occasion I witnessed the 1 year olds crying constantly, upset and the teacher never once comforted them. At one point I watched as a child was picked up by the arm and moved over to the wall and told to stay there. The teachers didnt seem happy to be there and the turn over was alot.
