My son who always had exemplary behavior, got bullied daily by four children. Despite going to the director,Ms.Kelly Libby nothing was done. My son who was a happy child , started crying daily because nobody did anything about the bullying. I reached out to MsKelly to no avail. This one particular boy put a beeping Apple Watch in my son's ear at recess. I didn't find out till my son Logan told me a month later. I told ms.libby via email. Her response was "Oh it happened a month ago, he's no longer allowed to bring his watch" ok so she basically did nothing because it happened a month ago. This is just one example of what was done to my child. I later received an email from her stating there was no evidence of bullying and that I should contact my son's pediatrician. I guess she was implying counseling. My son had two sessions and the therapist felt there was no need to continue. Prior to me putting Logan in this school , he was a happy child. I noticed that was changing. Each morning he was crying and felt very anxious. After trying with the direction ms.Kelly and his teacher ms.esther I pulled him out. These people were supposed to provide a safe environment which they did not. My advice think twice before u put your child in this school.

My 3-year-old daughter speaks only Spanish and had never been cared for by anyone outside of our…read morefamily. I first enrolled her at Coastal Hope Academy (formerly Kids City USA), and after three weeks of trying, there was little to no improvement. She cried throughout the day, and I was repeatedly told that this was normal behavior. After the owner suggested that we stop speaking Spanish at home, I decided it was time to find a different environment for her. We transferred her to Ellison Acres Preschool, and what a difference it has made. From the very first day, my daughter was a completely different child. She would come home excitedly comparing the two schools, telling me how this one has so many toys, colorful chairs, a more comfortable place to nap, and how much fun she was having. What stands out the most is how the teachers make every effort to communicate with her and include her in activities, despite the language barrier. At her previous school, she often seemed isolated and as though she did not belong. Here, she feels welcomed, supported, and happy. The tuition is also more affordable, saving us about $60 per week. Another thing I truly appreciate is receiving a summary of her day, which allows me to know what she has been learning and doing. As a parent, that means so much. I am incredibly grateful for the teachers and staff at Ellison Acres Preschool. Seeing my daughter excited to go to school each morning has been such a relief, and I wanted to share our positive experience with other families who may be searching for the right place for their child. Thank you for the great care of my most value possession. Xio.

I enjoyed the interview process and my family was very excited about the opportunity there! The principal said day one that he was "anal." I didn't really pay any mind to it at first but little by little I saw the controlling/manipulative side of the director. He has a my way or the highway mentality and it just didn't go well with my teaching style! He also came to observe on like my 3rd class!!! I've taught for over 25 years and never had a walk in observation unannounced in my 2nd week of classes!!! That was very tacky on his part. There were discipline problems that weren't addressed and continued to be a real hindrance to my work at this school. I got pretty sick and continued to arrive to teach and only received complaints from the principal, I was really sick! He'd write passive aggressive emails to me and I just realized that this school was not the place for me to teach/coach and bring my family! When I was told to leave the principal eerily left all the lights on at the school and said he'd be watching me on the school cameras as I went back to my classroom to remove my personal belongings!!! Weird experience there, wouldn't recommend the school for kids or for a teaching opportunity!! Not worth it!! Was very disappointed, the community there in Daytona beach is a bit off, people in general are NOT friendly and everyone keeps to themselves, was a very odd time for me!!

Over the span of close to a decade Inspirations has continued to be one of the best schools for little ones in the area. Its not daycare, your little ones are prepared for a regular school day at Inspirations and must be at school by 9am, with the curriculum age appropriate, yet the day run like a regular elementary school day. Structure is provided, a caring attitude all the teachers have always had, and very reasonable tuition . The playground is awesome, yet safe while the kids outside so gardening projects, have holiday sing slings, as well as work with parents concerning any issues your child may be having (or; late potty training- they are so helpful and patient). We have had nothing but good experiences at Inspirations. It's a great preschool!
