Over the past year of working with Kayla there have been consistent changes to her prices without notification, consistent attempts to nickel and dime an extra dollar out of us. She charges for every single dish she loads to every single thing she folds. When our normal cleaning went up by $100 out of nowhere a few weeks ago we inquired to why that was and she informed us that we are now paying a $20 Venmo transaction fee in addition to all these other charges to the same stuff she's been doing for a year. She did not notify us before she raised her prices either. When my family decided to terminate services with her, she referenced a contract that says she needs 30 day notice before ending. A few weeks ago we gave her notice that her rising prices were not something we can continue to do and she said she understood and then this week informed us that she needs an additional 30 days of payment to terminate the contract. When we asked her to at least clean if we have to pay $1000 (2 cleanings) can you at least do the cleaning. She refused stating after we complained about the prices she doesn't feel comfortable working for us. So she's got VERY thin skin. Words cannot express how dishonest this person is. It's really nice that she has a spreadsheet and she itemize all the things she has done which makes her come off as incredibly professional, but what it actually has shown itself to be incredibly dishonest, deceitful, & shady practices. As a business owner myself and having a family that has multiple businesses, we are very familiar with the nuances of entrepreneurship, but we are also big believers in honesty and transparency and this person does not uphold that in anyway. Recently we have found that she has been posting photos of our home (master bath and messy kitchen) on yelp and Google without any consent or permission. Legally, this is called Unauthorized invasion of privacy. This is grossly illegal. Good thing we have a lawyer in the family and will probably be dealing with her accordingly. ***update: She continues to lie in response to my review. This person is continuously disgusting and I'm sure she's gonna just continue to get this review removed. Remember good & honest people don't go around calling themselves a "good & honest person", they just are!

I went into the project having no sense of what the cost might be. I worked with Kris as my designer. On her first visit she took some measurements and was able to give me a rough minimum cost. She was very transparent on pricing and the scheduling (at the time I finalized design they were scheduling installations at least 90 days out). I was pretty particular on some of the things I knew I wanted/didn't want. We went through MANY design iterations and Kris was always happy to make the adjustments. She was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to give some great ideas and also quickly identify limitations and things to consider when I was posing ideas. She was also able to give me a good ballpark on cost to make certain changes, which was really helpful in choosing which direction to go. I didn't want lots of adjustable holes to show, so Kris took the time to help me measure out exactly where rods and shelves should be placed. After the long awaited install dates came around, things went pretty quickly. Peter did the install and I can tell he spent time making sure everything was level and installed correctly. The install was scheduled for three days. Things were moving quickly enough that Peter was able to complete the install in just two days (and stayed a little late to get it done that second day). He always made sure to clean up before he left. Kris stopped by both days to make sure things were going as expected. I damaged a piece the first day stepping where I shouldn't have, and Peter was out later the same week to fix it which was faster than I expected! Things to consider - get lots of drawers even though they're pricey. You can never have too many drawers. The upgraded shaker style drawers, gold rods, and crown molding were 100% worth it in my opinion. So was purchasing quality hardware. I purchased my own and gave it to the team to use during fabrication. I also got 24" depth units so the clothes would not extend beyond the wall shelves. Most don't opt for this, but I wanted a really clean look and had the space to do it. Overall I would certainly recommend Closet Factory if you're looking at a closet makeover.
