We've had the pleasure of working with Perfectly Placed twice now--once during a difficult…read moredownsizing move and again after relocating to a larger home--and both experiences were transformative. The first time, we called them out of desperation. We were combining two households into a smaller space and had hit a wall. Perfectly Placed brought the energy and expertise we needed to get unstuck. They helped us purge unnecessary (and often duplicate) items, came up with clever organizing solutions for our limited space, and even helped with decorating that made the home feel like us. It was a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. Fast forward a year and a half: my wife was determined to have Perfectly Placed help us with our new, much bigger house--even before we packed a single box. I was more hesitant this time around, concerned about the added cost and assuming we wouldn't face the same challenges in a larger space. But my wife was so convinced of their value that she started driving for Uber to save up for it. After two unpacking days with Perfectly Placed, I can say it was absolutely the right call. We moved in over a weekend, and by Tuesday, our house was fully organized--something we could never have managed on our own, especially with my wife now 34 weeks pregnant. Perfectly Placed doesn't just organize your home--they bring peace of mind, clarity, and a sense of calm to what can otherwise be an overwhelming experience. We can't recommend them highly enough.

I need help sorting through items (to downsize and hold an estate sale) that have been in the house for over 80-years and 4-family generations. Huge task! We talked a few times and did a videochat so I could show her what the job would entail. The professionalism was like HGTV & "As Seen On"..she brought in her equipment, her assistant and made a plan to tackle our project. Within 4-hours we went from clutter to open space!! I was amazed at some of the habits I had picked up from my mother. I ended up donating alot and trashing a few items. Shannon has an excellent nose and eye for spotting mold! While initially we only used Mimi "from time to time," after we brought out things out of storage out of state, we really needed to downsize and organize what we wanted to keep, what needed to go. By ourselves, the job always seemed too overwhelming. We just never made enough progress and it got us down. Enter Mimi, with her gentle, focused and friendly approach, and we were able to do massive amounts of downsizing--and feel good doing it! She just seems to know what to do and what to say as you process through even the toughest decisions. After each session, she would even do the drop-offs for us, freeing us of yet another extra task. When we decided to move to a smaller and older home in the city, she not only helped us downsize our previous home for storage, but used her considerable design skills to stage our home for selling! (Got five offers the first day.) Since older homes often lack adequate storage and closet space, she has helped us come up with new solutions. I can't believe the difference she made in our aged St Louis basement, making it a place I actually like to be in! She recommended affordable shelving units and transformed a pile of boxes into an easy to use space where we can find things at a glance. I have recommended her to a lot of families in transition -- moving, selling, perhaps dealing with the belongings of an elderly relative. Her patience, tact and approachability are phenomenal. Mimi, you've changed our lives!
