Putters Paradise RV Park Snowflake, Az. Sept. 2022…read more SECURITY - No park security as far as entrance to park etc. No gate and a road runs along the side of the park with no fence. No fences anyplace. Cameras in the common areas and the office area, pool etc. Wi-Fi - Park Wi-Fi is s-l-o-w. If you try to stream they will slow you down. If you are in the front of the park you are down low, making even Cellular difficult depending on what company you are with. I can get zero over the air channels. Closest one is Phoenix I think. Poor to none OTA TV, Wi-Fi is not great, poor cell service. Everything I have tried gives broken up service, in and out. My hotspot, iPad as a hotspot and cell phone, but DVD works well. Wi-Fi will not connect automatically. Have to go to settings and babysit to get a connection. Wi-Fi also will not readily bring up signin when it's needed, daily for short term. SPEED - Speed limit is 10mph with speed bumps on the paved road, but speed limit still is pushed, many as they just bang over the speed bumps. SHOWERS - One each for men and Women. Seem in good shape and clean, did not use them. SITE SIZE - Smaller BACK IN SPOTS. Putting my larger trailer in was a challenge. There is not enough room in front of the site so had to worm it over with multiple shots. My third time backing this rig in but experience or not, this spot is too small without being able to use area across the road. LAUNDRY - Has some age on it but is basically in good shape, relatively clean and in good working order. 6 standard washing machines with 1 out of order and one large washing machine/6 standard dryers and 1 large dryer for large items. Dryers are $.75, Washer is $1.25. Not aware of cost of large machines. NOISE - Seems fairly quiet rural type setting even though there is a subdivision attached to the golf course next door. Evidently Arizona does not give tickets for noise or faulty mufflers but other than that pretty quiet. STAFF - Did not have much contact with the staff but the limited contact was good. SOME SERVICES - Laundry, above ground pool, & mail. The office sorts all incoming mail. OVERALL - Biggest disappointment is the misrepresentation of the photos on the web site. It has been many years, I think, since this park has looked like that. https://puttersparadiseaz.com/facilities/ PARK GROUNDS - maintenance appears to be at a minimum. The sites, both long and short term have weeds growing apparently uninterrupted and they smell bad. There was some cleaning up of sites, adding gravel and leveling but a ways to go. Looking from the road next to the RV campground, it looks bad with weeds and stuff visible to the neighborhood. This park is not for large RV's in my mind. As explained previously. I would stay here again but the inability to handle the length would be a strong limiting factor. A possibility would be to work with the authorities to have pull through sites from the road next to the park. On the good side, expenses appear to be good. Our average daily rate was around $22, laundry was also cheaper than the average. We had some problems with reservations and the park was very accommodating. You don't have to travel far for towns and services and when you do the traffic isn't bad. On the other hand, lots of things to see in the area with a little travel.

We stayed at this RV park for two nights as we were on our way back to Arizona and we thought…read moreGallup would be a great place to explore. The staff at the front desk were super friendly. There is a bit of a grocery and gift store here as well. My understanding is they have barbecue available some evenings, but it was not during the time we were there. We had a 30 amp pull through site and what was really odd about how this is laid out is the person next to you shares the space for the picnic table so your pleasure side of the RV is actually facing someone else if they put someone near you. I found this a little awkward and uncomfortable. The park was not full, so why everyone had to be so close together was a little odd. If I could make any suggestion here, it would be to space people out if they are not camping with each other and only Phil in the middle sites if you're full. All the utilities were fine and pricing was reasonable at $47 a night. The pool is a nice touch although it does definitely need some updated paint and the pool furniture is splintering and terribly uncomfortable. You are about 10 to 15 minutes away, a straight up shot down historic Highway 66 Into the historic town of Gallup. Take the time to explore here. There's a great coffee shop there as well as find all of the murals as they all have quite the story! We happened to visit the downtown area on Sunday, which is OK if you want quiet, but many things were closed so maybe try to go on a different day Plenty of gas stations nearby if you need to refuel as well There are some larger 50 amp sites that had a bit more privacy in the very back row, but they seem to reserve those just for the huge rigs. There's also a tent camping available along the side with power as well as some individual cabins.
