The staff are always friendly and are helpfull if you can not find something that you are looking for. The store, cafe and toilets are always clean and i always see cleaners around when i am in there. i have also started using the tesco shopping online. Im please with the quality food that has been picked by staff in store and also get to my door with out bruising fruits or the old flattened loaf of bread problems we usually get when were in a rush. The shopping arrive on an allocated time. the drivers are friendly and approachable and they also drop it off in your kitchen, which is a bonus. I think its clever how tesco offer a cheap range of products (tesco value) a medium range (tesco brand) and a more expensive but higher quality range (tesco finest) as it giver a wider spectrum of variety. Overall i think that this store is clean and also offers a free car park up to 2 hrs. There is also a tesco petrol pump outside so you can fill up on fuel and also use club card point saving there from the shopping you have just done.

Tesco describes this as "a change of consumer shopping habits", this is a change with all of their Tesco Metro stores which have been changed into Tesco Express or Tesco Superstore locations. This is probably the best supermarket in the city centre in terms of size and overall selection, I did find the stock to be a little depleted, especially on the Ground Floor with some shelves almost empty, but I do understand the shortages going on right now are causing harm to supermarkets, I hope and trust they are trying their best. It is over two floors, I personally want to get in and out of a store as quick as I can, especially with Tesco Express stores which are Tesco's answers to "convenience" stores, having to wait for a lift/escalator is just not a grab and go quick experience. The checkout area seemed a little messy, and the staff didn't seem too interested. It would be great to see a mobile scanning and payment system implemented here, which makes the overall experience much quicker and more consumer-centric, similar to what Sainsbury's and Marks and Spencer now offer, at their nearby location(s). Offering everything to stock your apartment up for a weeks shop it also has a great selection of fresh fruit and veg (you should really go to the market on Saturday if you can however) as well as a variety of meats and a very well stocked selection of alcohol, especially wine..... It's also great to grab a work lunch or something for dinner in the evening. At the weekends I'm a big fan of their 2 for £10 deal which includes a main, side, desert and bottle of wine for £10. This offers is always available and clearly signposted in the fridge section. Plus it saves of cooking and ain't nobody got time for that.

My wufe and l enjoy a drive out to the store and complete a weekly shop. At 20 minutes car journey its not like a local convenience but the range is excellent. Our cats like their selection of own brand treats whilst fresh fruit veg meat and other produce are abundant and varied. Theres usually good eat on the day bargains to be had. The only slight let down is tgat not all check outs are open which means two or three shoppers with big loads czn soon cause a log jam. Otherwise this store is highly recommended

The large entrance to the store leads you into a small cafe to the left and the main store to the right. The cafe is popular with shoppers, after and before they do their main shop, as they digest the national news with the complimentary papers whilst snacking on some impeccably presented and tasty, although rather small sandwiches. There are also things like scones, pastries, crisps, fruit etc, as well the choice two hot meals towards lunchtime. The main store has a small magazines and newspaper section, that leads you into the cavernous fruit and veg aisle, which compared to some supermarkets is a delight. Yes, as with all food in the shop, it is on the expensive side, but the quality is difficult to beat. The end of this aisle leads into a fascinating meat section, flanked at the end by fish and meat counter. We picked up some soy and honey mackerel fillets, which sounded intriguing. After traversing the again sizeable diary, frozen, bakery and cereal aisles, you come to the most fascinating part of the shop which houses all the marinades, rice, herbs and spices - for a person who loves food like myself, the variety was stunning. The shops rounds with the obligatory wines and spirits section (again copious), and the health and beauty section, attached to an in-store pharmacy, a nice touch. The tills again are very spacious, the staff are friendly and chatty, the whole place has a great feel about it. Pity its so far away and a tad on the expensive site for regular visits.

The store is a large store, as well as selling the groceries, it has a large clothing department and a large electrical department. The store also has the usual range of meat, fish and deli counters. The store is well aid out, easy to navigate and well sign posted. The store has a (Johnsons?) dry cleaning department, a Photo processing department, and a Starbucks coffee shop. Even of you dont want to go shopping you can still pop in and have a coffee and a snakc at Starbucks. The negative point, although this is not Sainsburys fault, is at peak times the queues to get on to the retail park are lengthly,before Christmas it took me an hour to get from the island to Sainsburys store

The trolleys are the £1 depoist, the store is well laid out, with a natural flow in store. There are large chillers for meat, and diary section. The food instore is not well known brands, but are very reasonably priced. Stores such as Aldi are seeing an increase in their customer turnover, since the dreaded credit crunch. My main complaint is that at Christmas a display at the top of the escalators offered three for two. For all intents and purposes this seemed to apply to the tins of chocolates. People in a hurry could be easily fooled (as was I) as on going to the front of the display and looking carefully at the small print it actually meant for wrapping and tags. This only became apparent to me when I got home and checked the tab. I have spoken to a number of people who were likewise deceived. Sharp practice Tesco and very poor marketing. Your reward is that I will shop at one of the other supermarkets for a period of three months. You really are better than that !!
