I was pleasantly surprised at how well stocked (and deceivingly large) the store is. Perhaps it was only well stocked because it was move-in weekend for the Freshers, but the inventory on the shelves were plentiful. We even found a beard trimmer plug to UK electric plug adapter there! The check outs were plentiful and efficient for self check out. I'm glad my child has this Tesco nearby for all the essentials.

If you have a problem or require assistance there is aways a member of staff on hand to assist you. Most people say that sainburys is very expensive and i think that most of their products are reasonably priced and i don't mind paying a little extra for good quality foods. Sainsburys also have a basics range and there own branded products. They have special offers weekly i think they change on a Wednesday there offers are kept on the ends of the aisles so you can see clearly as you walk through the shop instead of walking up every aisle. Our store has lots of parking outside plenty of disable and parent and child spaces. We have two cash machines outside the store.

The store is easy to move around with plenty of space between the aisles. There are many checkouts and they are always well manned which means that you never have to wait too long in queue to pay. The store is open until late in the evening with late nights on thursday and friday until 10pm

The store is reasonably small, and the stock isn't great, I wasn't able to find the particular type of milk I was looking for but was able to seek a reasonable alternative. The checkout area was straightforward and easy, with a staff member on hand to help at the many self-service checkouts, it is disappointing that this store does not support Marks and Spencer's mobile scanning and payment, which would be particularly useful, due to being a travel location, where shoppers would want to get in and out quickly to catch a train. 3* - The location and service are both good, while the stock is the bare minimum and could be better, but still one of the better places to get a small selection of groceries in the evening compared to alternatives nearby.

I grabbed a clean, and huge, bowl of mixed greens that also included radish, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and large leaves of romaine lettuce... And then I also selected a package of plain poached salmon and a package of lemon her grilled salmon (2 fillets per package)... On top of that I also got some marinated artichoke hearts and more cherry tomatoes... Hey what else am I going to do on the train, right? Well, even though I wasn't all that hungry when our train finally left the station, I still chowed down, finishing every little bit. The amount of food I could certainly could have fed four people, but ha, not when my chompers are in the picture! I wound up finishing this meal in about 25 minutes and I have to say, it did help the train ride go by a bit faster! (Or maybe it was thanks to the rather entertaining drunk people?)... Any who... The fruit and veg they don't grow themselves comes mainly from other farms in the UK, although a few bits and bobs come from further afield (although I would say that even in winter, this was the minority of stock). In addition to wonderful veggies they have so much meat it is unbelievable. Pretty much anything you want you can get - they also do a fabby steak pie and other pretty tasty and reasonably healthy ready-meals. But we are not finished yet - local honey, UK liqueurs, fruit wines, local jams, sauces, condiments, cheese, ice-cream, deserts, crackers, breads - seriously, a lovely place to make a gift basket or to treat yourself with a gourmet dinner. Prices are very reasonable for the produce - in fact I would say that it is often cheaper than supermarket. Meat and ready-meals, I don't mind paying for if they are quality - which they are. Other groceries are a bit spendy, but they are not mass-produced, they are usually made in the UK, so I generally don't grudge that for a special treat. Lip-smackingly good!
