An awesome day! From the planning stage to the actual day of our sail, our experience was perfect! Kal and Brian were very flexible with rescheduling due to it not being great weather the original day planned. When the day came, Kal texted helpful information on what we should bring, where to park for the day for free, and called the water taxi to bring us to the boat. She even offered suggestions on where to get good snacks and where to have dinner post-sail. The boat was extremely clean, roomy and comfortable, with cozy bean bags to relax on at the front of the boat. The actual sail was smooth and when we saw some clouds, Brian changed course to make sure we stayed in the sun. We brought food and wine, and their galley was stocked with everything we needed to chill the wine and serve the food. They had a great bluetooth speaker system that allowed us to listen to our favorite songs, which was key for us. Truly, Captains Kal and Brian were a pleasure to spend the afternoon with. They were cool and laid back, kept to themselves but were there when we needed/wanted them. We have been on quite a few private catamaran charters, and we highly recommend Sailacat. We are in the process of picking another day next month to go out with them again! read more

As a mother of young children I was very concerned about what would be the safest charter boat for my family. I had a lot of questions , would this be a suitable activity for their ages etc. I was immediately put at ease early on in the booking process, each of my questions given careful consideration. I was also given a choice of Captain's, all seasoned professionals with decades catamaran experience. We chose their port Captain, based on some other really positive online reviews and her 30+ yrs experience did not disappoint! On the day of our sail, we felt immediately at home aboard, totally safe and cared for start to finish. The vessel is amazing, my kids loved the trampoline and giant bean bag chairs on the front deck. My brother, who is non swimmer felt so safe, he actually put on a provided life vest, and was given a kayak lesson! He was smiling ear to ear. Because the cat doesn't haveva deep,bottom, we practically anchored right on the sandbar so we could nearly walk off the boat right onto the beach. Catamaran Serenity is the best. I can't imagine having made a better choice for our Sag Harbor sailing adventure. read more

We booked Sailacat for my friends bachelorette and it was the PERFECT ending to the weekend! Kal and Brian went above and beyond in accommodating our group of 8 ladies. From the moment we stepped onto Serenity we experienced top-notch service and a wonderful sail afternoon. We were able to sail to shelter island where we anchored and had various activities (floats, kayak, and paddle boarding). Being able to bring food and drinks on-board and play our own music from the Bluetooth while we relaxed in the rope netting.. couldn't have been better. I would say the best part of our experience were the captains themselves- they truly made the sail that much better with their positive attitude, humor, and expertise on the area and sailing. As extras they provided a cooler with ice, helped make sure we always had a full drink in our hand, and provided us with a chalice/flowers for our bachelorette. It was the perfect way to celebrate our bride to be and I would recommend using Sailacat 100%. read more

We had a dreamy night aboard Serenity! Kal and Brian were extremely accommodating and truly lovable. The kids were ecstatic while riding in the dingy, lounging on the bean bags listening to their favorite music, and jumping into the refreshing water off the coast of Shelter Island. The private beach we swam to was perfect in every way. It even had a natural stream that the kids had a blast floating in. The kids received dry life jackets from Brian once they were finished jumping off the stern and rinsed off with their freshwater hose. They had an extra large cooler with ice ready to go for our drinks. They were also stocked with the proper utensils in the beautiful cabin for the food we brought with us and ate on the deck. All 6 adults and 4 kids had a blast! Going back again next week to paddle board, watch the sunset and enjoy each other's company! My husband and our three teen age kids reserved the catamaran for a 1/2 day sail. The boat is beautiful, comfortable and clean. The technology on board is brand new and state of the art - top of the line. Captains Brian and Kal are terrific. Their fun, positive energy and charismatic personalities made the day! They were so kind and patient with my 14 year old daughter who was eager to learn about sailing. We all stopped for a swim in a beautiful cove and went paddle boarding. It was a spectacular afternoon. By the end of the cruise, Captain Kal and my daughter were singing show tunes together! We can't wait to sail with Captains Brian and Kal again! read more

What a fantastic 4th of July sail we had with Kali and Brian! They made us feel like old friends from the second we met them at the dock! We swam, we relaxed, we talked--always with a beautiful backdrop punctuating every step of the way. It was very chill and very fun at the same time. We were a group of ten, with five kids, and there was something for each of us to be smiling about during our time on the water. We will definitely book another sail as soon as we are out in the Hamptons again! WE HAD THE BEST TIME!! My best friends bachelorette party was absolutely perfect. Kal made sure we were well catered too and Brian was such a fabulous photographer. They were the sweetest couple and Kal even serenaded is at the end of our sail!! Their next sail was possibly being canceled due to weather and they let us hang out longer while we were docked and in no way kicked us off the boat. I would recommend sailing with them any day!! Couldn't recommend it enough - the highlight of Sag Harbor! Thank you Kal and Brian for a wonderful day on the water and showing us the best spots and nicest beaches, all those places we would have missed if not on the superb Serenity. Along with some extend family, ages 9 to 58, we had a blast with Kal and Brian on their cat last summer! Everyone had a great time sailing, swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding and the delightful conversions with the crew! Couldn't have been better! We took out the Catamaran with Captain Kal and Brian for a Saturday sunset cruise (5-9pm). There were 9 in our group and we had an amazing time. The boat was beautiful, comfortable for our party size and very fun. Captain Kal and Brian were very accommodating, adjusting timing as we needed and offering us the opportunity to dock the boat to swim. The sunset cruise was gorgeous and a great value. I couldn't recommend this experience more -- our group loved it and we want to book again! read more

Captain Kal and captain Brian and their catamaran Serenity are the best! From the moment we stepped off land until stepping back on 4 hours later was just amazing. Sailing was beautiful. The perfect weather was a plus. Stopping to swim and try a paddleboard for the first time was really fun. Then to top off the night a beautiful sunset where a pod of dolphins danced around the boat. Just finished my FIFTH trip with Sailacat and it keeps getting better every time! Capt Cal and Brian are the absolute best! Took my whole family out for Grandma's birthday. We sailed, went swimming, and even caught the sunset. It was the best family outing all year! Our Captain and mate were wonderful, warm, very professional. And the boat , wow! Serenity is beautiful, really clean and spacious, we got so comfortable we did not want to leave!
