We were looking for a fun way to check out the water and beaches. So glad we stumbled across MTK Cruises and the Tomoka. We have two little ones so we figured the lunch/swim tour was perfect for them. We booked day of but I feel lucky that they had room. Feel free to call or book online. Our captain Tom was so nice. Provided some fun history facts of the area. The boat it self is equipped with several coolers filled with ice. So bring whatever you want. Tom took us around the harbor and brought us to this small beach. He anchored the boat and lowered a walkway. He helped everyone down the walkway too. The beach was perfect for a quick swim and fun for the kids to collect seashells and look for crabs. Tom was kind enough to give us a net so the kids could have some extra fun. It was a perfect day weather wise and this cruise was just the cherry on top to the day. I could see us checking out their other tours too! Small tip: bring your water shoes if you have them. read more

Tom, thank you for going out of your way to make our bachelorette party successful! I remember contacting so many boats to see if they would take such a large group and Tom was immediate with his response and very accommodating for us all. NY gave us the usual unexpected gloomy weather in April so many of the boats rejected us but Tom understood our situation and made it worthwhile. Awesome Captain had beach blankets that were available for use. Played great music such as Ed Sheehan, Bob Marley, Jimmy Buffett, etc., but also allowed you to bring your own music with Bluetooth hookup. Also allowed your own drinks to include liquor, and food. Half the price of other sunset cruise (to rename unnamed), which also did not allow liquor, and did not play music. Very knowledgeable captain and down to earth. We took a sunset cruise with Captain Tom on his catamaran Eleanor, and it was completely perfect. It's a small boat but had plenty of room for our group of 7. Captains Tom took great care of us and took us on a wonderful tour of the bay and marinas. Had an exceptionally wonderful experience on the sunset cruise with Captain Tom. The weather was cold and rainy on the day we were there but Captain Tom made the trip totally worth it! He was incredibly knowledgeable about Montauk and places in the neighborhood to explore. He created a fun and cozy atmosphere with variable music for everyone and blankets to cuddle up in. The Eleanor's Pearl catamaran is amazing! Captain Tom took us on an incredible and beautiful sunset tour of the harbor. It was breathtaking. The vessel is comfortable and fun. My party and I could not get the sunset cruise so we settled for the star gaze cruise instead. Tom our captain was extremely friendly and a very cool guy. Theresa, his wife, who answers the phone calls, was just as friendly and hospitable as her husband. We toured Montauk lake for two hours and enjoyed the views, wine (byob) and conversation with out captain Tom. I highly recommend you try this out at least once while your out in Montauk. read more

I went on MTK Cruise with my family this week and had a fantastic experience. It was pre-season and mid-week, so it ended up being just us and it felt like a private charter. Tom and his wife are wonderful. Very friendly, informative, and accommodating. They play music onboard. There are blankets on board and they offer to put up/down the plexiglass windows to allow a breeze or keep you warm. They gave us a lot of advice on places to go and historical information about Montauk. I didn't realize ahead of time, but you can bring your own food and drinks onboard as well. The marina the tour leaves from is also beautiful. Very quaint with lots of shops and food options - from sit down restaurants to more snack bar style places and ice cream. We definitely recommend going on a MTK Cruise. read more
